Sonys exclusive fall lineup looks much more promesing but when you add the games that come to both consoles I can safetly say that even those that only own 1 console should't be doing anything else than having a game seziure all day every day, this fall =)

What is the problem. This is the gamer zone, as in judging all consoles/systems equally. At no point in the article did they neigh say or even mention the ps3 and its fall lineup. Yet you feel it necessary to go onto the comment board and bring up the completely unnecessary "xbox 360 lineup is weak" comment. Well I think that's uncalled for and should head over to the fan zone.

PS: I hate fan boys on both sides that feel they have to go and trash talk their supposed "rivals" whenever nothing of the sort was brought up.

Edit: I realize you're trying to be neutral, but bringing up the ps3 in an xbox360 article/thread that doesn't even mention ps3 is just trying to evoke people.

It works, in some ways.

I bought a 360 around the time the PS3 was due to come out, due to the outrageous initial price of the PS3, and the fact I wanted an HD gaming system.

I was tempted to grab the MGS4 bundle I saw at Best Buy a couple weeks ago, but I didn't, because I realized nearly every game I wanted would ALSO be on the 360.

There are more PS3 exclusives in the long-run, sure, but I'd rather wait until they're out and (hopefully) the price of the PS3 drops a bit more.

I mean, the game I REALLY want is God of War 3, but now the rumor is that won't be out for another year and a half almost (Christmas '09), so there's no rush for me.

I guess the point of this rambling is that the fact the 360/PS3 share a large number of their library is an advantage for whoever has the cheaper console, and right now, that is Microsoft.

My point was without all those third-party games being shared between both consoles, the 360 would fall even more behind in sales than it already has.

Edit: Regardless the semantics you apply, sales numbers disagree with "an" advantage too. If memory serves me right, the PS3 has always been the higher priced console. And it has outsold the 360 5 or 6 months out of the year, so far, with the price of the 20GB dropping. And that's an advantage? I understand what you are saying, I just don't agree.

I mean theres just nothing that interests me other then RFOM2 and LBP which will be great but really thats it. I might pick one up when Heavy rain comes out but it's not the game I expected it to be and the visuals in some areas need some better realistic treatment.

And that's your preference. There's nothing wrong with that. As for me, I'm looking forward to Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Heavy Rain, Motorstorm 2, and some multi-platform games. For the 360, I'm only looking forward to Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean, and maybe Last Remnant.

I know Sony fans don't want to admit it, but the 360 does have some advantages over the PS3. And the PS3 has some over the 360. Shocking news, I know.

Those "advantages" over the competition are how consumers choose one over the other. If the 360 didn't have any advantages over the PS3, then it'd be selling across the world like it is in Japan. Clearly it's not, so clearly it has SOME advantages. One of those is a lower price point. Another is the large library of shared games. Without BOTH of those factors combined, the 360 would have already lost. I guarantee you some 360 sales boil down to "What's the cheaper system I can play Madden on?"

A cheap console is nothing without a good game library, and a good game library won't get sold to anyone if the console costs too much.

You're confusing choice or personal preference with advantage. An advantage is free online play. Or Blu-ray. Or Netflix integration. Or Media Center connectivity. It would if it were outselling the higher priced competition. So now I ask: what part of "an advantage" don't you understand?

Honestly. No sarcasm intended. I don't see what's behind the hype. I played Fable: The Lost Chapters (on PC).

The only things they have that I'm interested in are RPG's and Viva Piñata. If Banjo can actually be cool, I'll get it. If there's some XBLA stuff, that's cool.

But where are all the games? Other than Star Ocean 4 (which I'll most likely get as long as it isn't bad) and Halo Wars (which I won't be getting), I don't see much in the exclusive department in fall or 2009, good or not, for MS. My 360 looks to get very little game time in comparison to my PC, Wii, and PS3 this fall and into 2009 and 10.

They're slacking while both the Wii and PS3 are getting some amazing exclusives and a lot of them.

Oh and Juuken, Last Remnant is coming to PS3.

Just because PS3 and Wii are finally starting to get some games that might live up to the hype doesn't mean that Ms is slipping. MS has a great lineup this year and even if those titles go to PC i could really careless. Now of course MS has not talked about it's future 360 lineup like Sony is doing way to early but it's there and I'm sure that the one year lead and ease of use on the development front will start to pay off in 2009 and 10. Love it or hate it MS is here to stay and Sony has never felt competition like this that is without a doubt a threat to there entire console gaming division. If MS out sells Sony in Software and Hardware this holiday season then prepare for a take over which we know will never happen but it's still fun to think about.

Have to say this is one of the few times i've been called for favoring the PS3. While I do have plans to buy a PS3 i have not yet because there are no games that interest me, with none on the horizon really either. I Did have high hopes for Haze but that turned horrible in a hurry.

I assure you 360 and Wii are the only consoles of this generation in my house. All the deletes (which do not translate to bans) are because of language used and not for console affiliation. Trolls, fanboys, Xbot, Sony droids are words that do not need to be used in the GZ and if call people these names your comment will probably be deleted and perhaps a ban placed. This is a safe zone for mature discussion and debate. Talking about members character really isn't called for.

The 360 is picking up speed in Japan. Microsoft also boasts a pretty strong jRPG lineup while PS3's barely has 2-3. *I think*. Also the pricecut for the 60GB down to $300, and the Arcade going down to $200 is going to put the pain on PS3. Microsoft is doing pretty well for themselves and I expect Sony counterattack very swiftly.

If I got a 360 I would get Gears 2 for sure. I'd probably get Fable 2. I'm a MAJOR RPG nut so I'd get Tales of Vesperia and the others. NG2 looks badass...I'd get Forza 2 because I like to race...

But I'd still rather get the PS3 because it has FFXIII (yes, I know it's multiplat) , FF Versus XIII, FF Agito XIII (Is it on PS3? Or just PSP?), Disgaea 3, Gran Turismo 5, LittleBigPlanet, the better version of Alone In the Dark, and the better version of Bioshock, and of course, Heavy Rain and both Motor Storms.
