Very very cool.

I've been wandering when they wouild get around to this! A free music video channel, no doubt funded by the sales they make for mobile device transfer.

sony have really been stepping up their media offering of late - winner = everyone.

Well, they already have Sony-BMG, if they can get at least 2 (if not all three of) Warner, EMI and Universal on board, they'll have all of the Big Four on there, then they can seek out indie lables as well.

Looks like a winner!
I wonder if we will be able to watch videos from other territories?
If the service is territory specific then it is useless to me.

6 - To clarify VidZone is not a SONY service...
It is 3rd party.

Why is everyone so upbeat and positive about this? Use Tversity and stream all media you want to your ps3 and actually have some control over it.

or god forbid download it from some nefarious source and then just stream it from your computer
