Sony announces PSP 3000

David Reeves has just announced the PSP 3000 at the Sony Press Conference in Leipzig.

It's new, Slim and Light case but with "enhanced LCD screen". More colours. "Crisper colours with more intesity when outside in the natural light," he said.

David Reeves also confirmed a built in microphone.

If you wait for the newest model, you'll keep waiting forever! The fact that you waited/are still waiting, means you've missed a lot of months of happy gaming you could have been doing instead of waiting ;-)

That would probably be the PSP 2 dude. This is the PSP 3000 "series" that's about it. It will not add something that will make all of the current PSP's obsolete with future games.

I bought a launch model psp and it broke just after the warranty expired. I refuse to buy another unless they can add a second analog stick. All I want is a dualshock controller that is stretched out with a lcd screen in the middle. That would be perfect.

I did the same with mine, gave away the fat got the slim and really haven't done much with it i mean i do play my games but the only difference is weight. i do miss my open button, was way easier on those big thumbs of mine... will get the 3000 for the screen but not now..... hook your ps3 first then the next step psp3000.. or might as well wait for the psp2 or what ever it will be called...
