It is like saying the Americans sided with George Bush or they sided with Bill Clinton. Except in the case of the Japanese it wasn't even their decision through popular vote as to who was running th country. They were even less empowered.

I think you are taking it a bit too literally...Nazi's tried to take over the world basically...they tried to get rid of 'competition', in the human sense, and tried to occupy every territory of the planet...of which they were cut short, but not without significant damage done...

now what did MS do?...MS had to be told by the US government to stop trying to take over the industry...to stop trying to get rid of 'competition'...and to let other industrys obtain sections of the market...

get it?...I am not one that says that though...its pretty lame sounding to me...but any time a company trys to take something over wrongly, people start firing the third reich at them...haven't you heard EA being called that lately?...with the hostile takeover of Take Two on the horizon and everything?...

and funny you should mention competition in this...MS has been losing next-gen market share to Sony and Nintendo ever since the competition showed up...And after GTAIV did absolutely NOTHING to increase their lead over the PS3 (in fact overall lose more of that lead), I am pretty certain Xbox Division execs are going to have their heads knocked around pretty soon...

Market share has always been more important than per console profits...software is where the money is...and while MS is doing extremely good in that sense, you do understand that in 8 years the division has only been black for one of them?...Sony has over 4x's the 1st party output of MGS...that is what MS is worried about...Sony can crank crap out left and right...MS can't...in a business sense, that is a huge issue...and the decision for MS to buy up 3rd party exclusives (in a hope to increase market share further) have failed so far...maybe they should have purchased game studios instead of games?...would definitely pay off later on...

Kleptic, like I said I know that they want to be a monopoly, and in fact they pretty much were for awhile, but they don't deserve to be called Nazis. MS was in the right industry at the right time. If Sony or other companies could pull political maneuvers to place themselves as a monopoly and block competition, they would. But Sony could never be a monopoly in games, entertainment hardware, or movies because there's too much competition. MS was smart enough to get Windows on 90% of computers and businesses everywhere - I can't blame them. That doesn't justify being equated to Nazis though.

Clinton were both members of Skulls and Bones, but I didn't know that Gates was, as you claim. But if he was, so what?
