He should Focus on the 360s positives this year( and by positive I mean gears2) instead of trying to bring up 2 year old fanboy talk of "wheres teh 1080p at 120millionFPS"

I just want to know how you can extend a lead when PS3 sold more the first year it was out than Xbox did, and has been selling more all this year, and from the looks of it is actually about to start streaking ahead.

If all goes well for Sony the eventually could be obvious in only a couple of months. Your GTA plan failed. It sounds like this is just desperate damage control, but I'll have to waste 2 minutes of my life and read it to be sure.

first off, three weeks ago didn't he say the 360 had sold about 19 million worldwide.

At sony's gamer day, the said the ps3 had sold about 12 million worldwide.

Now in this very article, he says the 360 has a five million console lead

Let's do some math 19 million - 12 million= 7 million.

In other words, how can MS have 19 million sold if they just said they have a 5 million console lead with the ps3 having sold over 12 million?

And he has the nerve to say sony is "snowing and deceiving" customers.

He should look at what he and his company say before he accuses others of such.

Only with a multiplatform game (GTA4) and they still have a huge game (MGS4) coming out which seeing just how much people want the 80GB sku it will sell well. KZ2 has proven to be very impressive so Im sure people wont mind those extra 3 months for the release considering the quality we will get. So what does MS have to compete? How will they lead in 08 if they couldnt in 07?

Yeah, GeOW 2 is a big game but I dont think NG counts as a big game, I really dont see anyone talking much about it, they've seen the gameplay and its not special or unique in anyway, all ive heard is its bloody as hell. The DLC will be something good for those who own a game released months ago by the time it comes out but I really dont see it as a system seller but they will make money from those games which have already been purchased. This MS guy is just pulling BS from his @ss, its pathetic.

If Blu-ray as they said would be such a catalyst to PS3 console sales, then why have PS3 sales over the past couple months not seen any lift since the format victory?

The days of Sony snowing the consumers and the press are over, I think the pressure is now really on them more than ever to deliver on all of these promises."

Come'on Aaron/MS, it's great you are doing good but lets not be ridiculous. You are misquoting sales numbers and you are acting like the 360 is sitting comfortably when IT IS NOT!

This kind of talk worries me because they seem perfectly fine with the current clusterf*ck going on with the 360 right now. You probably know a lot more about plans/releases then us lonely customer but right now you have got several big problems.

1. Lack of Exclusives and big heavy hitting titles. What you have announced is "decent" but it is far from competing with what Sony seems to have coming up. Delayed or not! Then the fact that if games like Killzone start looking leaps and bounds better than 360 games you are going to start to lose the hardcores to Sony. Then you release your games on the PC platform negating the need to even own a 360 if you have a decent gaming PC.

2. You have a serious hardware stigma around the 360 that is not going away and it costing you gamers and the public image of the 360. The warranty was great but you have some serious PR problems with communicating to customers that the 360 is reliable and then be able TO PROVE IT!

3. The competition has the winning HD format built-in to their system, they offer free online(doesn't matter if it's not as good as Live it works good enough), built-in Wi-Fi and a dedicated HDD in every system. The perceived value of the 360 vs the PS3 is NOT that good. This isn't everything these are just some of the more obvious differences.

4. Developers are starting to complain about the limits of DVD9 and even more important the lack of an HDD in every system. I think the DVD9 thing can be worked around if the dev's knew there was an HDD in every system. Right now, it is damaging to game devs and is holding back games from being the best. If the 360 is all about the GAMES, then why can't you provide a system that offers the dev's the freedom to create those games any way they want.

5. Your DRM is a mess and is unfair to the people that buy the system. Your own recommendations to fix the problem DO NOT WORK! You simply can't redownload from the download history from your gamertag and all your content will work offline. IT DOES NOT WORK %100! If you lose your HDD that you originally downloaded the content on you are SOL.

6. File size limits on the XBLA is discouraging developers from making games and releasing them on the service. Having these stupid limits does not provide the best GAMING experience.

7. This one is more just my own personal beef but the fact that you charge for gamer pictures and themes while the competition GIVES THEM AWAY. It is ridiculous and even more insulting when I can go on XBL and pay for a theme but then goto PSN and find that same theme for FREE. It's a slap in the face and the reason I don't buy any of the crap off of the marketplace.

Anyway, I have rambled enough.. But MS you have a lot of work to do and if you aren't careful Sony is going to blow by you before you know it and you are not going to be able to spin your way out of it. I really hope that now the Xbox division is profitable they are going to sit on their hands even more than they have in the last year. Damn, I typed a lot!

Aaron Greenburg is only doing what his higher ups have reported. Sony comes across as a genuine, humble and confident when interacting with the public. Microsoft does nothing but spew out lies, deceit and launder money from their consumers.

The reality is that when you have no ammunition, the best thing to do is belittle your competition in hopes that you will extend the life of your console a few added months. Sega has done this numerous times in the past, and Sony Snipers and even Microslaves know the fate that happened to Sega.

Microsoft is treading along the same exact pattern that brought Sega to their knees before Sony. Not enough people are jumping in, it seems they would rather Play B3yond.

sony is in no rush,thats why your begining to see our games look better than your games. didnt the ps2s graphics not get significantly better over time? sonys not sweating it, the customers dont mind the wait because we know what were getting in the end, good quality. a good variety of games. not just shooters and blue dragon. the ps3s been out selling the 360 this year, how do you figure? xbox beats sony in 08? yea ok. what a wild prediction. your not that far ahead for having a 16 month head start buddy.

blu ray does result in better games, developers have yet to deliver thoes games once they get the hang of our system. can you fit the quality and size of mgs4 on the discs you guys use? i belive it would take a collection of dvd9s to support mgs4 on your system. wait till mgs4 comes out. your gonna see people camping all the way down to your drive way.

It wont extend the lead because PS3 is outselling the XBOX since october last year.

XBOX might have had a head start and better games at the beggining but this year and 2009 is the year of PS3.
