Anyone else notice how he did not mention "Uncharted" as the best looking game this generation on either console? I'm not trying to start a flame war, but I think this should put to rest some of the Sony fanboy BS concerning how great "Uncharted" was overall to other titles. Especially seeing as how the game is set at the same HD standard that Gears of War and Bioshock which were set at 720p. It also debunks Sony's claim that all it's titles would be in 1080p...

I will be using this article and thread in my reference point when the lies pop-up again.

Actually, you are trying to start a flame war.
First, this article deals with games to show off a high definition TV, with gameplay concerns second.
Second, if you're a "gamer", why would you think it's BS to say Uncharted is a great game? Some may say Uncharted looks better than Gears of War (and I would agree), but it's not a question of resolution, it's about artistic style, lighting, and textures.
Third, Sony never said all games would be in 1080p. Microsoft, however, said that 1080p games would have to make severe sacrifices in visual quality, which has been proved wrong by Gran Turismo 5: Prologue.
Fourth, why would you use an HD site that doesn't even have a central focus on video games for future reference?

It goes hand in hand with many reviews, players, and critcs for the title (Uncharted)along with awards, and accolades given to other titles in his article. Bioshock for example was universally better on every level imaginable in comparison. Because we have heard time and time again about how the Xbox 360 is not an HD console but the PS3 is. Yet it's best showcased title falls in the league of a 360 title, and the PS3 has yet to prove that it technically is far and above better than the 360. As games are the showcase for this claim, and the games don't speak that...Overall.

My point is to highlight using this article as an example of no concrete evidence that "Uncharted" is the best graphically looking game of this generation, based on fanboy logic.

Again speaking about Microsoft statement that 1080p would be sacrificed. GTP5 is in the minority of games that are 1080p. So their claim is in fact true. Just go through the number of games that are 1080p and not. You will see there is a huge disparity.

I'm not starting a flamewar, and talking about game play. So you understand (Hey) I just beleive that this is a timely article that validates and debunks claims made by too many people on the PS3 bandwagon. I could careless, but it's a valid observation, and it's not just understood by one person and one article.

I didn't write "OMG! see I told you the 360 games where better!" Thats not my objective. The article was a great assesment that both systems have titles that showcase HD content. As a gaming fan I'm tired of hearing one side say things that have not been proven as truth yet. While at the same time slandering a system that has placed the truth of it's accomplishments front and center. It's just a way to bring a bit of balance. I'd truly like to see the PS3 do exactly what it has billed itself to be and can be. I understand that "Uncharted" is a great looking title, but I could never agree that it is hands down the best of this generation. Like many have said...There is just no/little proof of that.

So please don't take this as a flame bait for war...
