360 Outsells Wii and PS3? Vgchartz & NPD September Software and Hardware Expectations

Vgchartz reports that the Xbox 360 has lead the next-generation consoles in sales for the month of September. They attribute much of the gain to the release of Halo 3.

On October 18, 2007 at approximately 6:00 pm EST, NPD will release its data for the USA and Canada videogame markets - barring delay. The figures in the report will cover 'September' which is a five week period running from September 2 to October 6. The previous month was only four weeks.
