One of the co-host keeps praising MS, hates the PS3 and Apple computers and their products and sounds like a complete douche bag. You must hear it to believe how lame the guy is. In fact, they both sound like MS lackeys.

EDIT: Sorry JordanL, I know you are one of the hosts of that podcast and you did somewhat defend Sony's PSN service being free but the whole time I heard PS3 bashing from start to finish. They blatantly stated it's for website hits. Konami and Sony have confirmed the game will remain exclusive to the PS3. Keep in mind Sony Pictures is doing the Metal Gear movie. I have no doubt Sony used that as their exclusive or bribe pay. Also, Kojima said this game needs Blu-ray - "But like I said, MGS4 is aimed for the movie theatre, it's aimed for the PS3, so the game's scenario and graphics need this theatre-type hardware. It's when a producer has a game that can work on the 'DVD level' that a game will go multiplatform" - Taken from Kotaku's interview with Kojima.

As for XIII Versus, Square Enix just showed off a trailer for both XIII titles at TGS and clearly labeled: "Only for the Playstation 3". Do you really think SE would do this suddenly when they have a deal pending with MS? Their trailers have never stated for PS3 only, so why do it now just go back on that?

All signs point to BS. This feels more like a stunt to downplay the PS3.

A consumer could be sat on the fence thinking PS3 or 360? They hear about how amazing Halo3 is and think "tempting but what about MGS and FFXiii?" and then as if by magic a story comes out saying "don't worry about those mate, MS pretty much have them covered too, join the revolution and buy a 360!"

Considering White Engine uses 4 of the Cell's 6 SPEs for games and they had to use UE3 for the multiplatform game, The Last Remnant, you'll never see FFXII or any game that uses White Engine on 360.

White Engine is basically propriatary to the PS3.

I approved it because the previous story was "hot" meaning a lot of people read it in the least. Personally I think their justification for their article blows. It was very vague(esp in comparison to the PS3 SPU and memory usage article they refer to validate themselves) with evidence(it makes no sense to put "PS3 only" on the trailers) contradicting it.

That announcement could be in reference to the ps3 price drop. Not multiplatform rumors. This site did it for the hits, and its promoting itself through n4g, and the ps3 forums where two of them are moderators there.

Advertising is strictly prohibited in the ps3 forums, yet they do it there for their site eMaglive because they are mods and its simply a scheme to get hits between the two of them. You even have to pay a membership to post in the forums they have. Clever, yet low. Using the biggest attention grabbing rumor and dressing it up with supposedly having "inside anonymous sources" would be just the right tactic to get an unknown site off the ground.

Who would believe an anonymous source from a trashy ass unknown website over the actual developers at tgs anyway?

In the final fantasy trailers it said ONLY FOR THE PS3! in big bold letters. And Kojima, Phil and JAck said that its exclusive for the PS3. The trailer for Final Fantasy itself said only for the ps3, the reason they added that at the end was to end these rumors about it going multiplatform. I can assure you that Sony has these game locked up already, they already paid for these exclusive. Why do 360 Fanboys are dyeing for the Ps3 exclusive? if you go to the site and look at the comments, they were talking about Versus the spinoff, not 13, which in an interview with nomura in an issue of EGM, he stated they his game, Versus, is a ps3 exsclusive and will not be going multiplatform, he said it wasnt because he was trying to save the ps3, just because he has loyalty. ill find the mag and scan the interview and post it here.

OK, a rumor is just that a RUMOR, no proof, speculation, maybe's etc. so lets just say that their annonymous source is lying, but more importantly lets look at what the response to the rumors from the company themselves have said:

Apparently, the site is registered to a Mr. Anthony Hanses.

A brief Google search for that name bring's up an online C.V. representing Mr. Anthony Hanses. The interesting part is that his work experience includes the following:

Being a sony fan doesn't get you "sony connections" and plus this rumor didn't come from jordan it came from the other guy who claims he works with microsoft which was evident with the obvious 360 devoted, podcast.

Their website was created in april and it was going super slow with no kinds of traffic or anything. Then when they brought up a revamped version of the hot rumor everyone goes on in kahoots about, that day was the most ever site hits they've ever got. They are in this to score some dough.

Why, yes it was. Actually if you had read all the comment's you would have found that there are a few people are, yes, if the Halo trilogy jumped ship tomorrow I would not care. What bothers me so, is when, people think that a game is only possible on one system.....MGS4 is possible on the 360. Porting the games,especially FF, would seriously limit what they could do in the game. Also, you dont have to be a fanboy to realize that the anti-sony pro-microsoft fad is starting to fade away altogether.

MGS4, unless its been planned all along to be possible on the 360, is almost done. The game would have to be completely watered down and reworked. I think they want this hyped up game to be as amazing as they can make it since its the last installment, and thats only possible on the PS3.

Also, making FF on the Xbox release simultaneously is one thing, but releasing it late will be pointless. The ending will be spoiled at the graphics wont be as good. Also, if not announced multi by next summer, the PS3 will have nearly caught the xbox by then. (11million to 16million). At that point i wouldnt really care if it went to the xbox or not. As long as microsoft stops trying to drown the PS3 i wouldnt mind everyone enjoying gaming, whether they have the PS3 or 360. We would get our games, have our exclusives. You would have your games and your Halo (lol). Though I think many of you would end up picking up a PS3 by next winter...

So you people keep thinking that these two Giant Japanese companies are coming to 360? OK, if 360 is failing in Japan why in the H3ll would they be coming to MS? The only reason that I can think of, Konami and Square are just trying to show some love for the American company. Which at the end of the day Square and Konami won't get as much fan base like they used to from the Playstation. If you look at Halo, if it was a multi-platform it wouldn't get as much hype and fan base for it. That leads to a less cared about and less important of a title. Also all this talk about exclusives are just for the Xbox brand to stay in business for a while. These rumors could just be more hype for MGS4 and FF13 when they arrive on PS3.

You need to realize that DMC, a former SONY ONLY product, was confirmed PS3 ONLY. A FEW DAYS later, it was officially announced for 360 as well. WE DO NOT WORK FOR THESE COMPANIES. WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. I'm not saying they will definetely come to 360, however, there always is a chance. Doesn't matter to me, I have both so I'm all set for MGS4. *brushes away FF*. These may be timed exclusives that Konami and Square Enix cannot break early regarding contracts between these devs and Sony. MS may get them but have to wait as per the previous contracts between these companies and Sony and cannot be announced for MS until these contracts are up. But it seems like no. They won't be on 360 until they are officailly announced. Let this rumour die please. Thats my opinion on the subject.

Now, everyone knows, and Xbots point out, how hard PS3 is to develop for. So for non-Sony companies, don't you think this may contribute to worse graphics in lieu of spending more money and time to refine them?

2. Konami's podcast actually said, if they were making a 360 version, THE PS3 VERSION would not be affected, not the 360 version would be dumbed down. People spun it the way #39 did, some idiots even took it as confirmation of a 360 version. It was all hypothetical based on a listener question.

3. Ace Combat 6 is confirmed to be coming to PS3 by the publisher. All of Namco's titles are. (Eternal Sonata, Katamari etc) All just timed exclusives for 360.

4. Konami and Square are not Capcom. DMC3 was on PC. SE doesn't port games. There is no precedent there, and with Kojima Productions established, there is no way MGS4 or anything under that studio will get ported.

5. All the arguments I see are $$$ - no, SE and Konami stand to not even make their investment to port it back, ESPECIALLY 6+ months later. Other arguments are - bububu it's possible! (NO IT'S NOT, 360 is too weak, can't even handle good graphics for a large warzone Halo 3 game - and Bungie used to be good at graphics - MGS4 is a massive warzone, not running at 640p)
Another argument is - "they is lyingz" - Obviously they're lying when they say it's exclusive, but not when random f***-all sites announce they're no longer exclusive. Of course.
