Sony GDC 2010 Press Conference Live On G4tv.com

G4tv.com will be streaming the entirety of Sony's GDC Press Conference starting at 7PM EST on March 10. What does Sony have up their collective sleeve?

There could be some possible game announcements, and a new demonstration of their new motion controller, but the only way to find out for sure is to tune in and watch it unfold live.

I hope Sony puts up the whole conference on PSN Store! CAN'T WAIT to see what SONY is gona bring to the table. Bet they are gona show some GOW3 goodies too and maybe announce a couple of new games though that seems less likely as E3 is a bigger event to do that!

Arc takes center stage... But 2 new games will be shown off at GDc that we know of. MS3 and Starhawk are our best guesses as we've seen the new trailers for both and both are coming out October of this year.

Dude, read my post... I never said it was Starhawk. I said it could be Starhawk or MS3. I then gave reasons for that. To us, it was the most logical since we've seen the trailers for both that will be shown off at GDC. We had no knowledge of Socom 4 at all. It was a shock to us too. We didn't even know it was in the works and certainly not from Zipper.

Don't be so selective in what you choose to spew out. Read my posting history again. Further more, I even described the trailers (both of them) in great detail for you all. Watch if they aren't shown in exact form. Both will release this year too. Another bit for you to chew on.

starhawk was sorta announced along time ago, or trademarked the title forgot one of those 2, and MS3 won't be pacific rift ish, pt 1 was a desert, pt 2 was a island, the PSP/Ps2 was winter, so it only calls for a giant mountain, or in a rundown city possibly

arc + head tracking equals epic virtual reality

sony should make a "glove" controller so you can move and look around with the head tracking and use your real hands ingame.

yes but 100 times more accurate and responsive, with better layout and sensores everywhere to pick up every movement, and pick up the depth preception with the help of the ps eye.

PoSTedUP the Arc controller and the PS-Eye work hand in hand so to say Arc alone is 'meh' doesn't even make sense as it works with the PS-Eye.

And have you even seen the Arc in action? because from what I've seen it's miles ahead of the WiiMote.

I'm OK with Arc being shown off as long as they finally do the vitasl thing and give it a proper analogue stick controller( a la Nunchuck)to go with it and stop the suicide of using the DS3 in one hand as a stop gap, pikey answer that plainly doesn't work for everyone and isn't comfortable for anyone! They do that and it's possbe to care about seeing that sweet accuracy and precision at work on some better and more complex titles. I'd even be well up for them going the whole hog on either R3 or KZ3 supporting it and finally giving consoles a viable and competitive(and more immersive)alternative to the keyboard and mopuse that's been the most accurate(ifd not the best all round) method for shooters for an age-we all wanted it when we first saw the Revolution so why is it so disgusting to us now? Same with swords/lightsabers too. anyhow-I'd prefer them to go with just one control method and not allow DS3 controls for any FPS using Arc -however, it's unlikely they'd do this-mainly because I worry that trying to support two will mean neither are perfect.

Games wise-you can keep guessing as there's too many possibes out there from SFPS3 to Jaffe's game to Starhawk to Gd knows what else at whatever studios! ASopny could have all sorts and NEED to split things between E3 and GDC this time out. Expect PSN premium details too.

I expect FF13 VS gameplay, FF14 Beta for PS3, GT5 OFFICAL release date, and not much new content because they will probably save it for E3 which is a lot more important and popular.

MS just held that X10 thing to round up their non E3 related first party ideas for 2010 so don't expect much from them themselves(isn't it GDC where only one of them per year does a keynote presentation anyway?)but DO expect, maybe, thrid pary devs with MS flavoured stuff to make a splash. Epic with Gears3 could be a possbility, no? Or with something else mayhap?
That kind of thing, I imagine, is much more likely than MS using a platform other than their own a week ago to pt out something massive. Could always be totally wrong, natch, but thinking about it I just see MS waiting on their own stuff til E3 now as X10 would have made much more sense for them as it would have also pushed the event itself as well as any announcements within it.
