I thought it was a good movie also but it could have been better. There was too much going on. It actually would have been better if it were Spiderman 3 then Spiderman 4. That would have allowed them to get more in depth with each story.
You can't always make a great movie with one series. The Spider Man Trilogy is now equivalent to the Godfather Trilogy. The first was good, the second was better, and the third was not bad just not as good as the first two.
I still believe it was entertaining and worth the price of admission. I will be getting the bluray when it comes out.

I agree, it's very borderline that so much news come out about Blu-ray vs HD-dvd but both consoles use them. As far as the box office releases of the movie industry getting approved, well I guess it's time we start warming up our reviews of films if this keeps up. Well I have seen this movie and I was not impressed. It struggles to find an identity. It tries to be kid friendly with one liners and then tries to become very dark and suspenseful.

The intro started off on an ok note, but there are some awful CGI scenes at parts which I considered a surprise since the movie's budget came in a whopping $258 million dollars. As the movie progresses there are some cheesy scenes, which were blown out and don't necessarily define the character that is spiderman. The movie is predictable towards the end.

I am not saying this is the worst movie I have ever seen, but this movie does not go with the same movie direction as the past two films. I even wondered if the movie had the same director. The movie is entertaining and fun at times, but could have been a lot better if the editor were to have cut a movie which I seemed way too long.

There were too may bad guys(that in the end they try and make you feel sorry for) What is that all about?
It will obviously do well in sales, it IS Spiderman, but just isn't up to par with the first or second films.
