EA shuts down Blueprint division

Electronic Arts has apparently closed the doors on the supposedly secret internal Blueprint division in the business cuts that were announced recently.

Although nothing much was said on the record about the division, it was originally initiated to work on new intellectual property and was headed up by Neil Young - but when Young left in June this year to head up his own company an internal email from EA Games president Frank Gibeau handed control over to Louis Castle.
