Microsoft flaunts fall games line-up at X08 in Toronto

Globe & Mail gets a little hands-on time with several upcoming Xbox 360 games, including Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, Fable II, and others. From the story:

"Every summer Microsoft hosts a media event in Toronto called X-whatever-year-it-happens-to-be. There are never any big announcements or reveals; it's simply an opportunity for journalists to get hands-on time with some major titles before they're released over the holiday months. X08 took place Thursday within the spacious confines of a large downtown nightclub in Ontario's capital, and, as expected, there were no surprises. However, as promised, it did give the press a chance to check out plenty of this fall's most anticipated games.

As I wandered around a large dance floor converted into corridors of gaming pods, I had my first opportunity to check out Star Wars: The Force Unleashed..."
