Digital Life Metal Gear Solid 4 Review

Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima is one of the game industry's most talented auteurs and this game is his magnum opus. It is astonishing.

Like its predecessors, Guns of the Patriots will divide fans and critics. It has always been a series that you either adore or loathe: a bombastic, overwrought military soap opera in which players spend just as much time watching events unfold as they do directing the action.

But critics cannot deny the outstanding quality of the presentation, nor the creativity. There are countless clever ideas, surprises and genuine thrills crammed into the package, along with giggles and even genuine pathos.
