Mad Catz To Produce Rock Band Products

Mad Catz Interactive announced on Friday that it has entered into a multi-year licensing agreement with MTV Networks to produce and distribute game peripherals and other products for Rock Band.

1 - I would be excited about this

Except it's Mad Catz. The WORST creators of third party peripherals EVER. When I used to buy Mad Catz controllers for my SNES and Genesis I had to learn the hard way. Of course, the PS2 memory cards were an even worse catastrophe.

3 - Not who I would have picked

I have never been impressed with any Mad Catz products. They will be inexpensive, that's about it.

Personally, I would like to see a company like Logitech make the controllers. They would be more expensive but would last and work properly. Look at the microphone. It weighs more than the damn drum set.
