I havent played or bought any of the psn games apart from warhawk.

None of them have appealed to me instead prefer to waste my money on old ps2 classics i never got round to playing/completing

Super StarDust easily. Well I have not played everyday shooter but seen videos of it and its to slow paced for me. Warhawk is available in stores thats why it does not count. But my choise is SSD HD.

Flow and Super Stardust HD are the only games available on UK's PSN store.

Both are great game and it is a tough choice.

I voted Super stardust HD.

Great 1080p game, addictive, great music, great graphic, overly hard game.
This is a direct competition with Xbox 360's Geometry Wars. (This too is a fantastic game)

Even though it just came out, I like Snakeball. Online matches are crazy. But out of these three, I have to pick SSHD. As good as Everyday Shooter's sound and visuals are, it is pretty frustrating to people who only want to play a quick game.

I can say that SSHD is PSN's GOTY.

fl0w was fun; until you beat the game within an hour. Zero replay value makes me wonder why fl0w was even nominated..

ES is an awesome game with a ton of replay value. Simple mechanics make this game playable for any type of gamer. It oozes pure style, and the music is wonderful. Unfortunately, with its emphasis on simplicity, Everyday Shooter lacks the depth that SSHD successfully captured. The lone fact that it doesn't have an online leaderboard really hurts this game's chances of winning. Gamers breathe competition nowadays, and to drop the ball in such an important yet simple component of a game leaves the door wide open for SSHD.

Which brings me to my pick for PSN game of the year, Super Stardust HD. This is a Geometry Wars-killer. That's big for me to say, because I spent HOURS on GW on my cousin's 360. I was thrilled to see that I had a game of even greater calibre on my PS3. The graphics are awesome, the leaderboards are extremely competitive.. The controls are precise, allowing 360 degrees of rotation (unlike ES' 8-direction shooting system). Hard bosses, level-specific enemies and difficulty increases for each successful completion of the game really add to the replay value.

This game is simply addictive. For $10, I spent more time on this game than most $60 games I bought this year. Hell, I would even support this game for GOTY in 2007 (Notice the lack of 'PSN' before GOTY? I'm completely serious)!

I can't wait for SSHD2!
