1.1 - the difference
is very noticeable one looks like a beta opposed to a final product, that was pretty ridiculous they were able to add two-five extra people per battle and the game and particle effects are significantly more polished its like a first year game vs late second year game.

Ironicly Ready At Dawn (the one who's making this game) is working on a Okami port for the Wii.

Totally worth the extra drain on the battery. I just hope all developers only use the extra power boast when they need it.

Since the CPU was up'd on the PSP from it's base, can that be possible to do later with PS3 and Cell. Cause I know that Cell has eight SPU's on it's one Processor, but two of those are not enabled to handle game code, so is it possible that later on we might see games that use 7 or even all 8 of the SPU's?
Back to the topic at hand, I never would've thought that 111mhz increase would help so much, I would think faster loading maybe a few graphical enhancments but the difference is almost PS1 to PS2 upgrade.
SWEET! use of a CPU.
Side question: does anybody know how much that extra 111Mhz takes away in battery life.

Dear LORD, those are big differences!! Maybe not PS1-PS2 diffs, but definitely early PS2-late PS2 I mean it looks practically as good as GOW2. I never would have thought it could be that much better, wow. I don't yet have a PSP (been waiting for FF7:CC) but hey, If I have the money, GOW:COO is a system seller as well!!

And I am glad I did. I had the original PSP but thought I would rather have the lighter design. Now with this game on the horizon, I am glad to be back into the PSP. Man that game looks great!

14 - I need clarification!
Someone posted that with the firmware update, original PSP's were upgraded to 333mhz. Is this true? Is there a way to tell on my PSP? I do not have the new slim and would certainly hate to have to trade in for the new model just to play Chains.

ALL PSPs had this feature from the beginning, Sony locked it out from developers to save on battery life but they've been finding ways to boost life for games so it has been unlocked.

15.1 - Wow
its already been stated many times, so for the last time: You do not need to trade in your PSP. All PSPs (yes, even the ones from launch a few years ago) have a 333mHz processor. Sony initially locked it to 222 to help with battery life Again, ALL PSPs have a 333mhz PROCESSOR.

People are like "Im so shocked at the difference 111mhz made". If you think about it logically the originally psp was locked in at 222 mhz. Its now at its full speed of 333 mhz, thats a 50% increase. Of course thats gonna make a noticeable difference.
