Boy does not strangle sister over BioShock game

There is a story currently popping up all over the Internet about a Kansas teenager who supposedly strangled his little sister thanks to influences from BioShock. Aside from the fact that it's the most ridiculous story ever conceived, it has been confirmed by Destructoid's Joe Burling to be completely false. Already circulating Webs, the tale is getting somewhat out of hand and really isn't very funny anyway, due to the fact that it's so badly done.

this is what really happenedd:

jack thompson walks around his neigbourhood. sees boy playing bioshock. jack thompson breaks into the boys house through the back door. runs up stairs, sees his sister playing with barbie doll. jack thompson then strangles the girl. runs down the stair. sees the boys parents in the kitchen. jack grabs a meat cleaver and decapitates them both. then rapes the family dog. runs off. informs the police and blames it on the boy for playing bioshock. bioshock taken of the shelves. end of stoy. no bull.

Some kind of a**hole or Jack Thompson must have been behind spreading this stupid news.
And if anything, BioShock actually encourages the player to save the little girl. Harvesting/killing Little sister gives more Adam but the true point is to save her...
