Terrible choices IMO.
Resident Evil: Apocalypse is not the worst movie-game ever. Where is Uwe Boll's disgusting Alone in the Dark? Or his Bloodrayne(s)?
Where is Mortal Kombat 2 movie? Where is Tomb Raider 2 movie? Resident Evil 1 movie also deserves a place.

The best choices are Mario Bros and Street Fighter. They are a disgrace not only to gamers but to humanity (Along with Uwe Boll movies).

The first resident evil movie was cool it had some cool and original stuffs like the room with the cutting lasers that went to make it in re4 the game,but the second was total crap that only focused on make alice and jill look badass and making faces like they were the thoughest b1tches in the planet.Since that movie i think i hate mila jovovich.

I've got to agree with you guys. I also enjoy Resident Evil movies more than all others. The list should have been filled with Uwe Boll movies plus a MK2 movie and the SF one.

A tie with street fighter for worst possible game/ movie ever. Bloodrayne was good, i love the outfits for her, that alone makes it good.

Resident Evil is a good game and movie franchise, but they named Apocolypse. I didn't know it was out yet!

Wasn't there a movie for Pitfall?

Super Mario Bros. was horrible. But I think there are others that were just so forgettable that they aren't on the radar.

6.1 - seriously...

If you didn't know RE: apocalypse was out, you must be living in a cave. It came out like 4 years ago. Yes, it also sucked. The first one was so-so...but this one was just CRAP. Anyhow, extinction (the one you probably, and hopefully meant) Comes out shortly, and will probably blow all the same. I have a long running joke that somewhere there is a RE dvd that contains the actual (good) version of the movie on it in the special features...

Hitman is going to be up here though. I know it. The ape that they got to play 47 is laughable, and just the screenies are enough to make me want to puke.

SF and SMB were right on, as was House of the Dead. I mean, when you have to splice sh1t footage into the middle of your movie because iut is the only way to get any relevance to the title.....you should scrap the hell out of it. Not Mr. Boll though...I think he is content forking things up that people love. Oh well, maybe in the next 10 years a good game movie will come out...but from the looks of it, we may never see a good one. Oh, unless MGS shows up.

Hitman and Resident Evil 3: Extinction are coming before Chrismas.
Paul W.S. Anderson (MK, Resident Evil movie 1) is working on CastleVania movie.
Chris Gans (Silent Hill director) is one pre-production of Onimusha movie.
Michael Bay (Transformers) is set to direct Prince Of Persia movie with Jerry Bruckheimer producing (Pirates, Armageddon).
Gears Of War movie has a script.
Condemned: Criminal Origins movie named Unforgettable or something is coming with director of Cell attached.
Roger Avary (Pulp Fiction writer) is working on Driver movie.

And finally, everyone's favorite hated director Uwe Boll has:
1.Bloodrayne 2 finished, coming to DVD.
2.Far Cry is filming starring dudes from ScrewAttack (For real!).
3.Postal finished.
4.Dungeon Siege: In the name of King finished.
5.Alone in the Dark 2 in pre-production.

That's about it I think :)

Holy hell you guys liked the piece of crap resident evil movie? The first one was cool the second one was BORING!!!! Anyways I guess these suck considering the only two I saw were RE and Mario. I didn't even know their WAS a street fighter movie.

Was there ever any good game movie? RE was "passable" at best.

Movies based on games are all cash cows, trying to squeeze every little bit of cash they can.

And is it me, or has the halo franchise completely sold out? Movies, soda pop, etc. It really sucks because as good as halo 3 will be, for me it will be tainted with bad movies and products. It did that for me and star wars (although I never was a BIG fan). Enough will JarJar Binks products!

Those who don't like RE Apocalypse. Are you the some guys which complained the first one was to far away from the game?
So you don't know the games very much.
I must admit RE2 is no thriller but they listened to the fans and added more game characters, a lot of RE2 & 3 (game) plus the complete intro from Code Veronica. It is kind of a homage to the games.
