Console Monster writes: "Capcom have told Console Monster that an announcement will be taking place at 5pm GMT with regards to the new Resident Evil 5 Alternative Edition."

I predict:

Will be released with Sony Motion Control bundle, will be released before the motion control standalone is released a la Tiger 10 and motion plus.

Capcom not releasing this as a disc base release in EU/ US is a missed opportunity.

Its highly unlikely that this rerelease will spur great sales. but since the game uses the motion controls, launching it with the launch period will give it more publicity and possibly strengthen sales.
