MW2 PC: Please Reconnect to Xbox Live?

"Browsing through the IW forums there's an individual who's taken up the task of bringing real dedicated servers to MW2. taking a look at some of the .exe code we get this.

360 port confirmed.

From what I've gathered the dedicated server code is there. But disabled. He's already figured out how to add the dev console line and he's turned lean back on.

There is no MW2 dedicated server menus. So I'm guessing he will probably have to figure out how to implement cod4's menu's. Of course if it does work it will be a cracked .exe so that means. You'll have to connect to a dedicated server not hosted by GSP's. Unless some GSP's get ballzy.

What a terrible world you live in if you prefer a patch-free experience to one with patches. Without patches, play experience with tons of games would be sharply decreased in fun.

Plus, the Xbox 360 isn't patch-free, so you may as well just take that out of your argument about why someone should move from the PC to the Xbox 360.

As a side note, consoles have come a long way, but PC games will always be superior in every way (unless more companies follow in Infinity Ward's footsteps, that is).

PC does not have a system like Xbox live or PSN and the PSN pales in comparison to Xbox Live, so what is your point? I can go on Ebay right now and get a year subscription for about $36. If you can't afford $3 a month then you don't need to be spending your money on games in the first place. You spend more than $3 for a coke and candy bar at a gas station.

Something an adult would only understand is that it's stupid to waste money on something worthless like Xbox Live when you can get a comparable, albeit slightly worse, experience for free. Adults need more money because they spend more money on things like bills and gas. Thus the percentage of money they have available for videogames may be smaller.
