resident evil 2 for US? seriously? when did Japan get this,2007?

I really understand that not everyone wants to see this game just because I do, but it WAS pretty popular. I also understand that the people who work at PSN probably put in a decent amount of time on the updates, but it just seems like they aren't listening and out of touch. Seems like they listened with the God of War releases, but the PSONE classics are still lagging.
