He dished out the all time most epic humiliation at E3 when he walked out on stage at the Sony conference and disowned the Raiden spinoff game.

There never has been another company that had such a major developer publicly humiliate them like Kojima did to Microsoft at E3. He obviously was furious that the clowns at Microsoft were so pathetically desperate to have something to salvage their disaterous E3 showing that they tried to pretend the stupid little Raiden action spinoff was the next Metal Gear game.

Microsoft learned their lesson. Don't ever F with Kojima.

Even last gen Microsoft managed to actually get a port of a real MGS game. Although Kojima had nothing to do with it either.

But at least last gen it was a real MGS game and not this retarded action spinoff that has nothing to do with the real MGS storyline.

im sure most of you would LOVE for Kojima to be disgusted with the Raiden game, but he's not. He stated in multiple interviews he looks forward to seeing the new things HIS TEAM is doing with the Metal Gear universe, and he trusts them to do a great job.

This is funny. It seems that the argument of the day is "the only reason people are hating on MGS:Rising is because it's on the 360!"

Well, the only reason people are defending Rising is because it's on the 360. What do you have to say to that? Many of you same 360-supporters said that the MGS storyline was rubbish ("Mass Effect is so much better!"), that the gameplay was crap ("I'll play Gears of War instead"), and that Kojima was insane and that his games were full of goofy, stupid stuff. "I don't want to play a movie", you all said.

And now that you're getting an MGS spin-off that isn't even directed by Kojima, you're trying desperately to defend it and make it seem like it's more significant than it really is.

The facts:

- Kojima is directing, producing, and designing Peace Walker, not Rising
- Kojima refers to Peace Walker as a "true sequel" and "the MGS game he has in his heart"
- the MGS4 team is working on Peace Walker, not Rising
- we have seen hundreds of screenshots, two major trailers, and a playable demo of Peace Walker. We have seen a picture of Raiden for Rising.

Sorry, but you can't argue against facts. A true MGS fan is naturally going to be leery of Rising because it is a spin-off. Please...are you trying to tell me that MGS fans went ga-ga over Ac!d 1 and 2? Yeah right. MGS fans were unsure about those spin-offs, so it is normal for us to be unsure about Rising.

If ever a game deserved trophies, MGS4 is it! I've completed the game so many times but I'd love to go through it again to get the platinum. Just please don't make any of the trophies online trophies or at least do it in the same vein as Uncharted2. Play a co-op match, play a competitve match. The rest should just follow the emblems.

Sorry, I love Ninja gaiden for it's gameplay and challenge. The story has never been it's strong point though. Just having Raiden run from one end of a stage to the other pretty much makes it compete with Itagakis story telling =)

In all honesty, I haven't really thought what the story is going to be like or what it's going to be about. We know hardly anything about the game.

The more I read though, the more it feels that Kojima is overseeing the project. Metal Gear is his baby. It might not be as Epic as the Solid story and might not even be canon but I really don't think it'll be a let down... As a huge Metal Gear fan, I really hope not.

V1c1ous play the metal gear saga back to back (kinda) MGS3, 1, 2 then 4. Sure I felt my brain was about to esplode but it was awesome.

I'd LOVE to see an RPG from this man!

On a side note, I'm wondering how Kojima will introduce nanites to Castlevania... Maybe that'll be the explaination behind vampires.

you do understand that the cpu in the 360 is a modified version of an early cell processor in the ps3 right?
strangely enought all those games look miles ahead of most 360 games, and the best thing of all is that those development companies are dedicated in producing more and more games of equivalent or higher quality in both graphics and innovative gameplay. i cannot say the same for Halo or Gears
i can look at forza and say lol, remember that ferrari trailer? that car is not even in the game they couldnt even put it on the disc you have to buy it separately through DLC. overall if this does not sink into your mind then i shall say it for you,

A game like Halo 3 for instance, people bashed it as not being graphically intense. As always such views are merely subjective, what looks inferior to you may not be inferior at all.

And really if you took the time to look deeply you'd find some amazing things going on in Halo 3. It's a very solid game...but PS3 fanboys already gave it a bad rep.
