IncGamers - Oleg Maddox Interview

Speaking to IncGamers, Oleg Maddox, the man behind Maddox Games and the hugely successful IL-2 franchise, has told us why the game has done so well and what made the first title on PC so different.

"Considering the ever-growing popularity of console games, it was natural that at some point a decision was made to create a console version of the game. I think it is a great opportunity to let console gamers become familiar with the legacy of this flight simulator series. Birds of Prey has a different and unique approach to development in terms of controls and playability than in other console flight simulators."

Glad he liked how Birds of Prey came out on consoles. Couldn't have been an easy thing to do but it's a big accomplishment, I think.

It's really hard to be original in this genre, which has spawned so many great games.
