Maybe if we told them they could rename it "Imagine: Beyond Good & Evil" they'd revive the project... ROTFL.

It would probably sell through the roof and actually provide a decent female role model...alas no such occurrence will happen.

I've actually NEVER played this, but now I'm curious with all the revving up of Jade as one of the greatest female lead characters. Maybe I'll Goozex this...

3.1 - It is not great.
This game was way overhyped by the press. Maybe they are fans of Neitzsche. It is a linear adventure game with platformer elements. It's not a bad game, but not as good as the hype.

LMAO You sound like an Ubi rebel, waiting for a taste of vengeance. I think I'm going to pick it up, would you recommend it for PS2 or Gamecube? I'm leaning towards GC but I'm not sure if all the difference is just the controller I'll be using!

Maybe I should. It fits into a niche stuffed with games I heard great things about but never played.

Time to make a list.

This is true actually. I remember seeing some advert from Canada where they were giving this game away with the purchase of cheese. I don't believe the cheese in any way related to the game, but...well that hardly matters. Cheese + Beyond Good and Evil = Good food and good fun. :/

PS2 version has 16:9 and 480p support while the GC version is only 480p. The GC version will look clearer because the 480p it's native (the PS2 version is supported through software) but if you're playing on a widescreen tv then it'll look like crap anyway.

So PS2 version is the recommended just because of the additional 16:9 support.

Hopefully they remaster it for PS3 like (GOW Collection) when BGE2 nears release.
Or they should remake it to bring it up to date?
Maybe they should release it on PSN or XBL?
I never got to play it.

The BGE2 trailer looks really Epic BTW.
