piroh, you're very uneducated.

CryEngine 2 isn't a cheap tool, and all you are scrutinizing is level design with your below examples.

You obviously haven't seen the lengths at which CryEngine 3 is being designed to work multi-platform. It is one of the most powerful game engines to work with. All you have to do is take a look at the GDC09 vids scattered about the net.

Dude that is all for consoles! I only own a ps3 no 360 and not even a pc that can run anything over sims2 But im not such a fanboy to say that water is cheap, for one that is the best water I've ever seen in a game.

and yeah ps3 graphics are king when it come to consoles, but if you add pc in there crysis blows it away. umm just look pal I can't wait to play crysis on my ps3 its gunna rock, but saying it is cheap and disgusting is just about the mist bull crap I've ever heard.

6.1 - Trees are not easy to render realistically
It is actually harder to render trees and foliage that reacts to the environment with the level of realism Crysis and Crysis Warhead offers then stand alone 3d images seen in city landscapes.
The fact that the CryEngine can render both like this is amazing. Currently no game engine can do this with the level of scene interaction.

7 - New to this site....
I am new to this site and ran across this story and mod. Awesome looking mod. Loved the original game.
As for what game looks better as i see some people are arguing over this.
IMO it's not fair to compare a PC game to a console game.
With AA and AF that you can max out on a PC and have games run above 2056x1600, it gives consoles a major disadvantage.
U2 looks amazing, however Crysis Warhead at max levels is simply beyond what these current consoles can do. Moreover the almost full level of destructible environments in Crysis makes this impossible on a console.
As for a poll? Would be pointless as people who favor a system over the other would simply pick the one they like without doing so in a unbiased manner.

Great site so far. I can see that some on this site take their system too seriously at times just by scanning through some of the comments.
I guess fanboys will be fanboys and have a blind devotion for a company or system that could care less about them. Makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. LOL
