Agreed. In my opinion, FFXIII looks better than FFVII: AC's CG. I also find it interesting that a PS3 (or 360) is capable of doing what almost a decade ago we needed several work stations to do (as is the case with Spirits Within).

these are CG Comparison, there's nothing produced\rendered by the PS3 nor Xbox 360

and no, the consoles are nowhere near being able to handle something like that

and honestly, I think this comparison is something ridicules, comparing a CG to another CG?

Agreed. I'm surprised this didn't end up like when they compared Ratchet to Toy Story saying it was just as good as the CG in that. Every damn fanboy on this site flooded the place and without even thinking said OMG yeah, ps3 can render CG quality on the fly wowz! Some people eh?

"These are all CG rendered shots, in that none of them are in-game (for FFXIII, the transition isn't always immediately noticeable on the first time viewing but it's there). I originally wanted to compare in-game screenshots with the CG of Advent Children but sorry, AC looked better in that department. Hence, to put it on even ground, I compared only CG sequences.

"I haven't said anything whether the PS3 can render CG on fly as gameplay or whatever bull is being spouted [Gee, thanks pal]. Simply looking at the contrasts in both, which I think are amazing.

3.1 - Cloud is Lightning,Lightning is Cloud.

All those pics are CG and not In-Game, but in motion FFVIIACC[Blu-ray] looks better cause its a full-blown CG movie, but i guess we have to wait till The full game comes out.In those pics u can really see how Lightning really does look like Cloud's Female version.

wow pretty good but don't expect the gameplay for FF13 to looks that good the gap between CGI cutscenes and gameplay isn't a big as in final fantasy's of the past but its still noticable

These FF XIII Screen aren't in-game N4Noob is full of gay.

I have the PS3 demo, and the graphic is ABSOLUTELY not like this pics!

The CG->In-Game passage is immediate, but there a lof of difference!
