1 - Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts?
Unless that game was drastically different than the demo....I would say it got appreciated just right.

1.1 - No the game was better than you would expect
the games was fun and offered something different from all of the typical games you play every year.

1.2 - So was the demo...
on par with the game? Cause I played the demo..and it didn't really do anything for me......and I am a fan of the Banjo series. I actually had the game preordered, purchased it, but ended up returning it after playing the demo.

Dead Space had a lame demo but the game itself was made of pure win.

Nuts and Bolts was just pitched wrong and I'm not sure there's a market for the weird hybrid it actually grew into.

I thought Lost Oddyssey was really hard and dull work and would say I actually prefer Infinite Undiscovery as a 360 exclusive JRPG-though I know they both split opinion a little!

And much as I enjoyed NG2 I can't help feeling that the camera is just a little too annoying and the gore just a little too daft for it to be considered one of the best under the radar 360 games-I think the camera change for the Sigma on PS3 really SHOULD be patched for the 360 as well-I find it outrageous that sopmething so bad that can be fixed isn't being and 360 only gamers should be upset with Tecmo for it, imo. In actual fact all of us should.

Banjo N&B is one of the few games where I feel rewarded for thinking outside the box. If I fail the mission at hand, I go into the vehicle editor and try something wacky and see if it works.

In the escort missions in N&B I built a cage that I flew over the guy I was suppose to protect and trapped him in the cage and blocked all attacks while slowly moving with him. It was amazing to see my own creation work.

The demo didn't do N&B justice. The levels in the demo weren't the best and was in the middle of the game.

I say pick it up for 9 bucks and try it out.

Nuts and Bolts was another great childhood memory slaughtered by new age Rare.

Banjo-Tooie was amazing. Nuts and Bolts had to go and add racing elements and crap. I'll bet that wasn't anyone's idea at Microsoft.......*Cough*

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts was hella fun. You had to get into the exploration and various challenges -- I had a great time with it.

Still play it online with friends.

"you must ask yourself, why am still reading this article instead of going to the nearer store to buy the game?"

Wow.

Some awesome English they got going there.

Also, Tales of Vesperia was under-appreciated and under-sold? And it's no longer exclusive to the 360.

I heard a lot about Tales right when it came out, but then the news died down. I thought it looked pretty fantastic. Ditto for Lost Odyssey--that has to be better than the garbage that is Last Remnant (played it on PC).

Does Lost Odyssey really count? It may not have got the recognition from the media but the general consesnsus is that it's fantastic. It's also currently the best selling HD JRPG.

IDK, people did buy it and that's undeniable but I know plenty that would argue about it being generally considered all that good.

I suppose because it's so rigidly old school turn based that it turns some people off (and exactly why so many love it!)but, perssonally I just couldn't get into the story and found a lot of the characters seemed to be inconsistent in their actions. Might just be me , of course, but I wqould say that opinion prolly is a little more split over LO than you're saying Spoons me old mucker. Bit of a Marmite game perhaps?

Well the character cast wasn't the greatest. The main problem was Kaim and Sarah in my opinion. I didn't like the game originally but it grew on me.

Seeing a lot of these "in response to" articles lately. The gaming media is really weird like that.

Ninjs Gaiden games are always under-rated, but i think Crackdown gets too much credit and should be on an over-hyped list. The rest of the list though was good.

they both sold millions and were hella popular

8.1 - why is ninja gaiden and crackdown on there? you ask
because they deserve better success. Ninja Gaiden 2 barely sold 1 million and Crackdown sold 1.5 million. Ninja Gaiden on Xbox sold over 3 million, and in my opinion Ninja Gaiden 2 is better than the original.

Other than Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts i totally agree. Banjo wasnt nearly as good as the N64 port that the 360 got. BTW you should definately all get that. I think ill see if i can dig up crackdown, never actually played that one.

Lost Odyssey has to the best classic JRPG of this generation, I'm so bummed out that they have yet made a sequel, they should do it with this new artist that they have.

http://www.gamersyde.com/po...

god, that would be something if that was really Kaim, 1,000 years of battling can make you into a war harden warrior.

anyways, looking forward to their next big hit :)

Nice to see Lost Odyssee on that list. It is an awesome game, im playing it at the moment. Deff the best JRPG out there right now.

Its true that installing the game to the HDD removes all the technical problems with this game.

I'm wondering if Too Human is worth a buy. It's currently available at 20-25€ (around 30$) but i don't know if it's a real rape or just too lame to cost 70$.

bioshock
tales of vesperia

tho i think dead or alive 4 was under appreciated
