Square Enix @ GamesCom 2009: What To Expect

Square Enix have been busy since E3 2009, with a ton of information filtering out about their games. The majority of it has come from Japan, but that doesn't mean that Square Enix don't care about their European audience.

as long as i get my ffxiv info i'm good.. and yes since i dont have a gaming pc and while i have a 360 i want to play this on my ps3..

mmorpgs are games you play for long periods of time... nuff said..

Well for sure they will show the soon to be released Dissidia Final Fantasy game. That Nintendo DS Kingdom hearts game. MAYBE Birth by Sleep footage and maybe an announcement that FF14 will also hit the xbox 360. Then of course Final Fantasy 13 will be there.

As far as new game announcements go, pretty sure they'd hold everything if anything on that for Tokyo Game Show to cater to their fanbase.

Maybe we'll hear that FF Versus XIII was canceled for the PS3 and it's coming to the 360.

I think the opposite would be more likely. The sales for FFXIII are going to be very lop-sided. I predict a ratio of 3 to 1 sales from PS3 to 360.

Like most of the other people are saying here, in-game Versus stuff. We haven't even gotten a good scan of gameplay yet!! As long as they don't cut development on it, though, I'll be fine. You never know with Squeenix...

the only games i really wanted to see desperately were the excluded ones
birth by sleep
and versus xiii .... the only square-enix games pushing the platforms they are on... birth by sleep looks like a kh2 graphically and versus nuff said you know its going to improve to advent children graphics
