Quake Live gets ready for QuakeCon 2009

The latest update to id Software's browser-based shooter focuses on clientside features and important fixes.

The fixes and additions focus on competition and shoutcasting features for QuakeCon 2009 due to take place 13-16 August in Dallas, Texas.

hmmm first of all how about fixing all the cheating and not deleting people's posts of demos on their website that prove it. and for a "browser based game" there is sure alot of crap (punkbuster, maps, game directory) that have to be installed on the local machine. in short, quake live sucks.
