This should be interesting to see how it turns out.

For Gods sake I hope they'll give it more polish than the previous (Underworld) Tomb Raider cause a lot of that was a glitch gangbang.

This looks like a great concept, but what I don't get is why don't they just try a new game, you know it could be inspired by Tomb Raider, like how Bayonetta is inspired by DMC(same developer), but you get the point, hope it turns out well

1.5 - I'm in no hurry for a new TR....

After TR: Underworld they need to rethink and polish up their game if they want TR to be as big as it were.

I'm not sure if this is a wise direction to take TR. More mature and darker might work, but they tried that with Angel of Darkness. Focus on puzzles and exploration and leave the combat if they can't nail it...

The first Tomb raider was my favorite game "for it's time" back about 12 years now...

Tomb raider has always been,and always should be about climbing/jumps/exploration and puzzles....

If they are going to have more action it needs to be done right,not half arsed,dont do any action if you ask me,if it's going to be done poorly or even so/so...

The main formula for Tomb raider needs to be in,advanced upon and stick to the proper Tomb raider formula...Stay close to it's origin and essence,while moving forward...

Open World sounds interesting,and is a leap forward if done properly.

I have my fingers crossed...

If they make the game as good as the 1st Tomb Raider on PSone I'll check it out but if they keep on making games like the last ones that came out I won't be happy.

It does look alittle like a Legacy of Kain game [I wish it was a new Kain game], But Open world Lara game does sound promising,[but its got along way to go before it can even come close to Uncharted] when's it comin out 2009 or 2010.

Havn`t played a TR much before, but maybe this new take on it could be the step the franchise needs to get back on track. It certainly needs it if it`s going to compete with the train scene from Uncharted 2 ;)

As long as they keep the exploring and the quality of puzzles seen in Underworld. I like uncharted but it's puzzles and exploring elements arn't up to Tombraiders standard. Need both really as there very different. Uncharted for shooting, Tombraider for puzzles and exploration.

It's refreshing to see that someone understands that Tomb Raider and Uncharted are two different games. I remember when Uncharted was first shown and the devs said it's not a Tomb Raider clone. Fast forward two years and all these Sony fanboys fools are always comparing the games.

Uh ? i've mostly seen sony fans keep fighting against people (xbots or not) calling Uncharted a tomb raider .

Back then many couldnt just forget the jungle setting and realise it's a shooter , and got more in common with gears of War , than any exploration game

Could it be the first tomb raider to actually interest me ?

Before i shock anyone , i disliked the first ones (and didnt care for her digital boobies like some people ) , mostly because of their rigid imo controls and the game's gameplay anyway . And later i no longer cared enough to bother . Even when the info came that they at least fixed the controls especially with the latest game .

There is also the fact that i wasnt happy they put the awesome legacy of kain team on such "chore" , the tomb raider duty , with nothing else new from them since .

Here it basically sounds like a new ip maybe , but it intrigued me already .
At least i like the fact that she no longer looks like a porn star .

They just need to go back to the roots of the game if you ask me. Have exploration, solve puzzles, hot laura, and great storyline!

In the latest Underworld game the story seems to say that it is going to be continued...

...but with this upcoming game it will be a prequel, so we'll get to see a more younger and inexperienced Lara and how her journey all began.

I think that it's a good idea, maybe a good re-think for the series.

Maybe these guys should play Uncharted more and take some tips from that game.
