4th Diablo 3 Class Archer-Range-Bowyer Class to be revealed at BlizzCon 2009?

Alot rumours and speculations have been around the 4th or 5th Diablo 3 class, all from warriors, rangers, archers, bandits, and a spirutual thing. . We have to see what Blizzard have in the shelves at BlizzCon 2009.

Interesting stuff. While a lot is still speculation at this point, the most interesting part from this article (in my opinion) was the last bit that Jay said,

"I don’t want to close the door on bringing back classes from Diablo or Diablo 2; I just don’t want to do so with the initial release of Diablo 3. In Diablo 3, all of the classes should do something completely new. Then I’d like us to look back and figure out what gameplay gaps [exist]…. Then we’d go back and satisfy our and the fans’ nostalgia by pulling back some classes that we think really stood out."

Makes me wonder if they honestly would end up bringing back certain classes with expansions. From what I've seen, the Witch Doctor looks like a very cool class, but to be honest I think I would more enjoy a revamped actual Necromancer, as well as some of the other old classes. So if this info proves to be true that would very cool.

3 - I'm hoping for a bard class.
Which is like a thief + magic.

I've always played the thief/rogue/assassin classes and if diablo is missing that glass-cannon I'll be disappointed.

3.1 - For me I need the archer-ranger type class
I played the heck out of all my amazons in diablo 2 and I would be pretty disappointed if there wasn't a class that wasn't something comparable. I was always less into the druid/necro/sorceress classes...

I always thought the Mesmer from guild wars was a neat idea. indstead of just mashing together old classes and trying to make something new of that, I really hope they don't just look at WoW's hunter class, and D2's Zon and try to just mix those. They already used Slow Missiles in the Wizard class, so I dunno how the magic and passives (if included) will work. Crit hits+? AR+? Will they really just reinvent the old or think outside the box?

Edit:

My only really big concern is if they bring back the paladin, and will it be absolutely broken like many game's paladin class (D2 I'm looking at you lol).
