I completed Res5 last nite and in my opinion it was crap!!!

The movies r just as bad ALL of them

Maybe im just a hard person 2 please or Resident Evil has just out-stayed its welcome in my gamin mind its not wot it was all those many years ago when i played the 1st 2 games which were/are awesome games

I think RE5 was fun as heck, but I played through it twice with a friend, I could see people not enjoying it if they don't have friends. This is the reason I am pumped for Lost Planet 2, 4 player co-op is gonna be insane. If RE stayed exclusive to nintendo the franchise would either be dead or they wouldn't be able to sell one copy unless Mario and Sonic where in it.

Oh the thought of a Mario and Sonic RE has given me a case of the giggles..oh goodness I can't stop laughing... ROFL

Sure RE5 is more action oriented now, but I still enjoyed it regardless. I didn't read the article, but resident evil was exclusive to nintendo?! WTF?! since when? it was only RE4 that use to be exclisve right?!

It was a bad decision on their part after releasing Resident Evil 4 and saying that it will only stay on a Nintendo console. RE4 actually outsold the gamecube version when it was ported to the PS2 even though it was released 1 1/2 years later.

Even though the PS3 version of Resident Evil 5 outsold the Xbox 360 when looking at worldwide figures, the sale through of both versions combined is nothing to ignore. In most cases it is all about backing the right console...

don't teach me history,to add more history,RE1 was even ported to sega saturn also,remember that one?,I know all that,I knew and played all the resi games(except 1 at its time),all im saying that mikami's decision to make the series nintendo exclusive was wrong(sure re1 remake,re0 and the the unbelievable 4 were mindblowing) and hey one of my favorite system of all time was the n64 buddy,Im no nintendo hater but thier decisions in the past few years were disgusting

I have RE5 on PS3, and yes, I do think it could've been done on Wii. Sorry, but that game just recycled RE4's with slightly prettier visuals. Everything in it felt dated, and it could probably be ported to Wii without much trouble.

Not that I care either way, because I already have the game and I don't like it. =/

@el botto - RE1 was on Saturn, RE3 was on Dreamcast, RE2 got ported less than a year later, and the first RE was released in 1996, not 94/95.

I don't see the problem with 4 and 5. They are different sure, but thats what franchises do = reinvent themselves.

Theres always the hard core fan that wishes everything to remain the same, but come on get out of your comfort zone.

I started w RE2 , played RE1, then RE3, then Code veronica, then RE4 and i have yet to play RE5 but i've understood the evolution of the series, and i don't mind! Fine its no longer fixed camera with bad controlls (it added to the game in a good way!) but its something else in its own right!

If they remained the same forever, it'd get stale =/ i commend Capcom and Mikami for taking risks and evolivng the game well.

+ if you look at the story it makes sense how the game evolved.

It started with unknowns - scary

as the story became clear, the gameplay shifted from "scary omg whats going on" to "ok now we need to kick these guy's asses" (re5) so in a way it makes perfect sense to me

It'd be silly to remain survival horror forever = eventually the victims will turn back and fight the monster, and when that happens, its no longer survival horror =)

least u understand lol, people want it to be like madden and change only every 10 years lol.

and like u said chris and the others know of the threat, they can beat these things more effectivly hense the reason chris is more muscular now lol.

the old ones were fun but i dont think anywhere as fun as the new ones, and im glad its CO-op because besides little big planet RE5 is our fav game to play together.

lol go head hard core fans try shoting something in the old RE's to find that there is no aiming system that u either point up or down and blast w/e is there lol most of the time making head shots impossible ha.

bjornbear u shud play RE5 its awesome, like i said u can beat bosses different ways and its just awesome, i hope they dont make it run and gun in RE6 tho. i want claire back :)

i dont care if the controls were ok for re4 on wii fact is in general i hate the wii controls, i like to sit and relax while playin games after work not sit up and deal with annoying sensor bar. uggh thank god its not exclusive to wii lol

a good game is a good game, whether its true to its roots or not, i do want zombies back tho.....tho if they did bring them back they wud have to slow gameplay down because zombies were way to slow lol and RE5 gameplay wud just jet passed them

IMO zombies were completley optional in old RE's they were obstacles u had to dodge so u cud get the next key or emblem that was really all besides the boss fights
