Call of Duty dead before 4? HA! I guess you just recently got into the series, COD games were selling and reviewing really well (main ones of course, the spin offs were a mixed bag, that being said some of the spin offs were really good). Call of Duty 3 did really well, the best in the series until Call of Duty 4 of course.

To name a few articles, Medal of Honor on the other hand never had this kind of success in years. Even if the latest Medal of Honor saw the success of 2 on the PC alone EA would have been happy. Airborne wasn't a bad game but I don't think it cracked 1 million sold.

The best MoH game was Allied Assault and they'll never reach what they made with that again because most of the team is now making Modern Warfare 2.

I haven't heard of a MoH game since airbourne, EA may be making less money but they are getting respect so they will spend time on this to make it good if not better than MW2 I know what your thinking MW2 is awsome... but take away what ever element that makes it fun (it was luck that they found it) and you end up with and average online game.
Well isn't Dice also under EA, next MoH should have destructable enviroments... that would be pretty cool. EA also have Mirrors Edge if they could add some fast paced running action to... and on top they have there new shift game I'm not asking for a racer but they have been working on immersion and eye4eye gameplay, we for example if you get hit by a near by explosion your character would react realistically.
All these elements could turn to be a fantastic game.

6 - AWESOME
Ive always loved MOH games over COD. Why? Because they tell a deep story and have fun gameplay to their games. Airborne wasnt exactly the best but still. With COD (excepion of modern warfare) is "oh look ambush" take a few steps "oh look another ambush" and the only time it gets to you is at the end when they dedicate it to the battles of WW2. ITs all my opinion so yours may be differnt, but i honestly cannot wait for the next medal of honor!

7 - I remember when the first MoH for PC came out when I was in college...
It was frickin bad@ss back in the day. However, it, much like the Tomb Raider series and Sonic series, failed to adapt itself to progress within the genre and didn't change in meaningful ways.
Call of Duty took over what MoH shouldn't have lost in the first place. I doubt MoH's next project will come anywhere close to being the best FPS ever, let alone compete the next CoD.

"The physics system in the game needs to be as realistic as possible to even compete with the brilliance of Modern Warfare."
I don't know what amazing physics effects this author thinks are taking place in Modern Warfare or its successor WaW, but good physics would definitely be a plus.

Along with that statement, i believe Infinity Ward just said they are not aiming for realism...They are aiming for out there features like a action movie would do. AKA focus on fun before realism.

14 - History has proven...
that trying to capitalize on the popularity and success of another franchise without so much as changing the medium of your own franchise makes you a douchebag. I for one am not going to pass judgment on this MoH game, but suffice it to say that just because the publisher says its going to be the best FPS ever, doesn't mean it's going to be. It's just a marketing ploy. And if EA is also the publisher of Battlefield Bad Company 2, then it really is very stupid to call another FPS the best because it detracts from the rep of BF BC2.

funny people comparing call of duty to medal of honor
medal of honor allied assault was developed by 2015 Inc.
several of the guys left 2015 after allied assault and created a little company known as infinity ward
odd how things go around isn't it?
allied assault was an awesome game it was really the first FPS i played extensively online aside from Unreal Tournament

I like Medal of Honor especially when they yelled Jimmy Patterson. Plus it was tight when you would shoot any part of their body and they would react to the area that was shot. It did get old with the WW theme. This could be a comeback for them. Now if this game is really good it could give COD a run for its money. Activision might want to think twice about dropping Sony.

I thought Medal of Honor Pacific Assault on PC was the best in the series and Airborne was excellent as well.
No gamer who played the D Day sequence in Allied Assault when it was current (pre Call of Duty) could say he didn't enjoy it.

Medal of Honor will never be the same series it was back on the PS1 and early PC. The 2015 chaps arent there, Dreamworks/Speilberg isnt in charge of development and Capt Dye isnt with the team no more. Medal of Honor is dead, Airborne was ok but the series.... it's been EA'd!

22 - Haha hilarious
The only thing they`ve based this on is : "Well, at the beginning of the year EA (MOH Publishers) admitted that they were working on "the best FPS ever". Wow that`s strange a developer claiming their title is great.
And then follows up with : "If the "best FPS ever" is Anaconda, then it has the potential to be huge". The logic of writers is striking sometimes.
MOH Frontline on PS2 was the last great game in the series for me, and i think i`ll need a bit more prof before i`ll get excited for a new MOH. Still, Airborne wasn`t as bad as the games after Frontline.
