They are both two great franchises. As console racing fans, we are truly blessed to have both of these to chose from. And these two guys seems to agree, one gave Forza an overall score of 86 vs Gran Turismo's 85, and the other clearly prefers GT5 + G25 giving GT5 a 90 and Forza an 85.

These are the fruits of Turn 10's rampant GT bashing, to be publicly compared to GT5, to be considered on the same comparable level as Gran Turismo. I'm assuming that's the whole reason they're on a quest to prove there isn't a shred of class amongst their staff, when they put out their daily tirades against PD and GT. Just to achieve recognition as competition, by any means.

Arcade racer in sim clothing, trying to take down the reigning, undisputed king. Too bad they don't approach it with integrity and let their game speak for itself. Instead they're spending all their time acting like your average forum troll.

Outside of PS3 fanboy la la land racing sim fans like both franchises. Some people like Forza better and some people like Gran Turismo better. Personally, I like Forza better because of its greater customizability, better physics and better online options. Forza 3 is looking amazing and I think it is going to win over a whole bunch of new fans.

I like GT5P for the better graphics, physics, more cars on tracks, and better drift mode.

I like Forza 2 because IT'S A COMPLETE GAME. And the customization, good physics, and many different game modes.

Needless to say, I'm looking foward to Forza 3 and GT5, as those two will be the two games that's really comparable.

Comparing Forza 2 to GT5P is like comparing a cake that's already been baked to a cake that's still in the oven, and asking which tastes better.

Darin GT5P -73.1 & Forza 2 - 85.4
Shaun GT5P -75.6 & Forza 2 - 85.6

Full version av GT5 will probably be better if they get damage. But the same goes from forza. They complained about forza not having c0ckpit view and clutch. But both of these features will be in forza 3.

Keep in mind, I'm an avid detailer. My car is always clayed and polished when necessary, and topped with FK1000p. So my car is as shiny as it gets.

Fear is what Turn 10 has shown the moment that Gran Turismo 5 trailer was shown. Even going as far as trying to rig a pointless internet pol with free download content (the unicorn car). Hell the psp version of Gran Turismo shows up Forza 3 with it having over 800 cars to Forza 3's 400.

Now just imagine how many cars the ps3 version will have. It can very easily be over 1000 cars. Not to mention they have NASCAR AND THE WORLD RALLY CIRCUIT. Oh and one more thing they STILL have the better physics. And if that wasn't enough, they even have REALISTIC damage, not that arcade crap forza pulls.

So with all that I can see why Turn 10 is trying so desperately to make everyone think they have the better product. I'd lie to my customers too if it meant more money in my pocket at the end of the day

Gran Turismo has "the real driving sim" or something like that on the box and you guys don't bat an eyelid. I don't see the difference. Forza has been a strong competitor for Gran Turismo for a long time and Forza 3 looks like it is upping the ante. If you guys aren't honest enough to see that then, yes, you are simply being fanboys.

For starters, its not just the "Sony Fanboys" who think turn 10 need to shut up and that GT is superior to Forza. You're deluding yourself if you think this is the case.

Secondly, we are not being arrogant at all. We are simply confident in the quality of racer that Poliphony Digital puts out. I personally have not been dissappointed by any GT and have yet to be impressed by any other racing game outside of Motorstorm and BO: Revenge (yeah, a 360 exclusive) this gen.
