GamingBolt : Kojimas secret project : "NEXT"

From the way GamingBolt.com see it, this "NEXT" photo describes a new game, perhaps a new IP maybe. Though it could also mean a new Metal Gear, a "NEXT" Metal Gear, like all of us think, this could be Metal Gear Raiden, Metal Gear Solid 5, or anything else in that matter.

Though the most talked about topic is "Metal Gear Solid 4 coming to the Xbox 360", and from this photo, the chances go lower.
Like GamingBolt.com said "NEXT" means something new, a sequel, or anything like that, so if MGS4 was coming to the 360, why would he put this "NEXT" on the photo?

Update : A new image has been added to the story with a "5" !!! What this could be ? MGS5 on the cards or another new IP starting with a letter "S" ?

Why would kojima waste his time porting MGS4 to 360. If MGS4 was going to 360 it will be passed on to some internal konami group to port it while kojima works on something else. Spending time to port MGS4 on 360 = waste of kojima time but it won't be a waste of time to konami so they can handle the port

You're completely right, Kojima has too many amazing ideas swirling around his head, hes not going to dwell on the past. I know that 360 owners would love MGS4, but I think that they would really benifit (if the game was multiplat) from some hard work on a new IP from Kojima Productions.

No you got it all wrong.

- In a large field like that there's often a lot of spiders: Arachnid

- Take the first two letters from Arachnid: Ar

- The bigger field with white grass probably represents the first name of a large white guy while the green grass represents his last name: Aron Greenberg

- Then there's clouds in the sky and there are similar clouds in gears 2 act 1 and the Halo 3 trailer: Connected to Gears 2 and Halo 3

- And as Mr kojima is also involved I can't help to see the obvious connection of Metal gear solids: Snake

This all concludes my suspicions that: Aron Greenberg will announce a new AAA title "Metal gear VS Gears 2 VS Halo 3 (working title)" at E3 this year exclusively for the xbox 360.

I've also managed to leak an In-game screenshot of this new super blockbuster. /PS, this is actually how they ride in-game.

Nothing will happen to "them" as it's not "them" that wont let this rumor die already, its the media. I honestly dont know any one of my friends who own a Xbox 360 and friends on Xbox Live who either:

-want MGS4
-even KNOW what MGS4 is
-care

I got the MGS4 PS3 bundle when it came out particularly for the game and figured that would be the right time for me to buy a PS3 as I wanted the game and i'm sure if anyone REALLY wanted it that bad they would've gotten a PS3 by now.

360 owners dont want MGS4, it can't get more clearer than that. Xbox 360 'FANBOYS' just want it as something to brag about to bash against playstation 'FANBOYS' for a loss "exclusive".

Kojima could have a team split off with added devs just for the 360 version with added content? Anybody in their right mind knows the cash to be had with a port to the 360.I just would not put any money on it....

This could happen,but odds are it's "not" going to happen.

Kojima is looking to get more of a "west" flavor into his games,his recent visit to Infinity Ward added into this makes me think he is going after a new IP. Then after this new IP,he will have his main (designers) men directly under him tackle the next MGS all on their own.But first a new IP.....Then the next MGS....

The picture has "Metal Gear Raiden" written all over it however...

Next can stand for the the next MGS or his next series,anybody can make a quess.Anyways,less than 24 hours and we can all find out what is really up...

your completely right when the teaser first came out I was all hyped up for a new game then I start seeing the predictions on ign and those sites and everysingle one of them had a "MGS4 on 360", I didnt mind it but then the fanboys just started going crazy over it all over the comments and forums, I have seen atleast 50 threads here, gametrailers, neogaf etc...which have the title "MGS 4 on XBOX 360 OOOOOMMMMGGGGG!!!11!!!!1!!!&qu ot; and its really annoying

I think most x360 fans don't care about MGS4 anymore.They would have cared if it was relased togeher with the PS3 version last year i understand this.

The same way i didn't care as well as most PS3 fans didn't care for LP and Bioshock when it was released later on the PS3.

It does seem like its media that are looking for hits.

What would be better for x360 fans is a new IP for the x360 weather its multi-plat or exclusive.

At the end of the GDC keynote he did the last picture had the captions:

NEXT METAL GEAR PROJECT or something like that, but NEXT was in it. It had that mini picture of Raiden, and on April fools day you got to see Campbell in Raiden's outfit from MGS4 kicking butt.

Honestly I'll be MORE surprised if tomorrow he announces something that isn't a Metal Gear game starring Raiden. Either way it'll be a day 1 purchase from me. Kojima = can have my bank account. :)

GTA: The Lost and the damned came out about 10 months after the original game dropped and went on to sell very well.

Burnout Paradise is supported to this day with car and game mode updates (and is getting a large island add-on in a bit) after almost a year and a half of being released.

MGS4 isn't that old, and even if it is, DLC is DLC.

I dont see why everyone is expecting Kojima's team to announce the port of MGS4, since i doubt they would take the time to do it when it could easily be done by some other team in Konami.

Just like the way EA did the port for HL2 and Team Ninja did the port for Ninja Gaiden, if the dev team dont like the port console someone else will do it, so this doesnt mean that MGS4 isnt going to be ported

Still Kojima doesn't own MGS IP, Konami does. Konami is 3rd party, it has shareholders it wants to maximize its profit.

Bioshock came to the PS3 1.5 years after the 360 version and was denied for a long time. MGS4 could go over just as simple as that.

Not so simple, really there would be alot of things taken out of the game to make it fit one disc or go the multiple route. But honestly though I seriously don't think the 360 can handle snakes sneaking suit changing due to the environment. I seriously think the 360 would freeze at the start of it changing. So I probably be best if they went to doing what mgs3 did the preset camos on maunal not automatic..... If there was a port.

NEXT means

MGS4 on the 360 next thing up. And after that MGS5 exclusive for Microsoft because overall exclusives sell better on the 360. Gears of War 5 to 8 mln. (1st one over life time, sequel still selling), Halo 3 is what on 9 mln.

Just joking, but I do think Konami will not lock itself to PS3 audience anymore. So MGS4 port can be coming, not by Kojima studio though. MGS5 multi release on both platforms.

wow, desperate as hell

MGS5 sold 5 million copies... i think the investors are happy and would rather Kojima worked on the next MGS instead of a port that would require Kojima getting his head round DVD9 and other 360 limitations

the MGS fanbase is on PS3.. Konami doesn't need the 360 for MGS

if you really think "NEXT" means the 360 then you really must be deluded.. is there a 360 controller in the sky too?
