Kojima Productions Response To MGS4 Rumors

Game Of Honor: Early this morning an article from Kombo written by Matt Furtado stated that they received an email from an unknown publisher which we would like to know from whom. Although it's concerning the upcoming Kojima project, A new patch that will feature Raiden in an upcoming downloadable content update that will take control of Raiden through a total of 2 new chapters or more in the near future. I would laugh my ass off because 1. Kojima wasn't lying and 2. Sony fans thought they could breathe easily because they thought they still had MGS 4 exclusively.

Honestly, if it ever did come to 360, I would HOPE and PRAY that Kojima Productions were handling it.

No other developer would put as much care and attention into the game as Kojima would and, if they're going to port it, I'd want them to put as much effort as they can into the port.

As I have stated before, 360 fans fall into 2 categories as regards MGS4.

A few want the game because they know what it is. Simply the greatest achievement to date in game development. A true tour de force, an experience not to be missed by any real gamer, and the culmination of 20 years of story telling that concludes with the greatest surprise/bomb drop in entertainment history.

"Luke, I am your father" and "I am Revan" have nothing on the the unveil at the end of MGS4.

On a personal note this unveil only has it's true impact if you played at least MGS, MGS2, and MGS3. Unfortunately if you didn't then you actually missed something.

The second large group of 360 gamers just want MGS4 because it is a 360 exclusive. It isn't a Sony first party game so the very fact they mistakenly believe there is a possibility of getting it (there isn't) just drives them mad.

There is no game on any platform that has been so demanded and rumored to come to a competing platform. Rumors that have grown from desire. Not one game that generates such covetousness and fervor from the competition. Gears of War? No. Did Bioshock before being announced? No. Mass Effect? No. Most wanted game by opposition console supporters. Period.

And that is the difference between most 360 and PS3 fans. PS3 fans want a game to play whereas 360 fans just want the game because they can't stand the thought of the PS3 having a great exclusive. Particularly when it is the greatest game ever.

Comparing, actually, saying the convoluted storyline of MGS is BETTER than the reveal of Empire Strikes Back? Serious? And people agree with you?!

I know its Friday, but chill. MGS4 is a great game and all, but lets not go off the deep end...

Oh and I see much more of the Mass Effect coming to PS3 articles than anything else. And thats def PS3 fans asking for that one...

1.19 - No, you fail. All I hear is the buzzing noise of someone that knows nothing of MGS4.
You have one reveal in that movie culminated over...two movies. In MGS4 you are shown the secrets of 20 years, 9 canon and 1 non canon game and the bomb drop doesn't just affect one person's destiny or lineage but the actions of every single character across all of those games. The meaning of everything they have ever done is completely altered.

If you think there have been more and grander articles on the Mass Effect crossover then you deserve the ignore button. And these are MGS4 articles taht continue to pop up despite repeated denials whereas EA won't definitively lay down the law.

You can't stand the fact 360 gamers are the larger crowd of 'want'. Tough. It's a fact.

Calm down. The story of MGS4 was good. I personally think it would have been better if they ended it at the gunshot instead of dragging it out. Yeah the third epilogue tied up all the loose ends, but it also left the story open to continue and the story just needs to end.

1.22 - There are two different rumors about Metal Gear and Pirate thom and others try to paint them as one.
About 3% of the Metal gear rumors were about Metal Gear Solid 4 GOTP on the 360 lately. Pirate Thom has been in every Metal Gear Storm rumor post claiming or painting a picture of people talking MGS4 on the 360 lol. I'v seen Pirate Thom in these Metal Gear rumor rooms mentioning MGS4 for no reason when the topic was abouta new Metal Gear.

Now The PS3 fans are reacting in a way suggesting that all the Metal Gear Rumors hype was tied to MGS4 which hardly anybody was talking about to begin with. LMAO

" Kombo also stated that trophies are finally be making a debut and speaking of debut. It looks like the XBOX 360 will be experiencing Metal Gear Solid early as spring 2010."

Never heard of this rumor^^ the wrong questions are being asked from the PS3 fans trying to comfort themselves.

Whats funny is MGS4 on the 360 is not even the big Metal Gear Rumor right now, 97% of the Metal Gear rumors are about Metal Gear Rising Raiden being 360 exclusive. I 'm sure Kojima has heard about them and yet only talking abut MGS4? Microsoft has already said its not MGS4 on the 360.

But most of all you are angry they appear in the first place. They remind you when they appear that 360 fans have an insatiable lust for MGS4. Yeah 360 fans do not want MGS4. I said that. But more than that they don't want it to be a PS3 exclusive. Hence they are the fire in which rumor fuel burns.

People can make all of the claims they want but the idea that 360 fans do not want MGS4 is second only in absurdity to the rumor itself.

Congrats, you just listed a bunch of mediocre PC games. And PC > 360 as a 360 is a really slow PC. Why play any of those games on a 360 in sub-hd resolutions with low framerates and with low graphics settings? The thing with a PS3 exclusive is, it is exactly that, exclusive. You cannot buy MGS4 or any other PS3 exclusive on the PC or on any other platform. So, if anyone wanted to play ass reject or any other craptastic 360 "exclusive" they can play it in better quality on a mediocre real PC.

On a personal note, I feel you are the biggest turd on this entire site, and that's saying a lot.

I have a 360 and I like HALO so I don't need it on the PS3. I have Gears but I have said for a long time Epic has Gears 2 running on the PS3. Why? I don't know.

And where are these imaginary beggars you PS3 fanboys like to talk about so much?

Personally I'm not interested in MGS4 since I've already played it. I know lots of people love it but it wasn't my cup of coffee. I liked 1&2 though. MS3 not so much. The End boss was cool but I never got into the story like I did with Sons of Liberty.

Out of all PS3 games I'd pick Uncharted 2. It looks great.
