lucreto... its one less reason to not bother supporting them with the second one also... but if you do want it get it preowned... but really i must say it was stupid of sony to not make them do trophies from the start! they really went half arsed about it and it hasnt done them any favours... thankfully its all sorted now but it really wouldnt hurt developers to go back and patch old games, infact it would give them bragging rights like "see we support our games" instead its "do one, we cant be bothered!" lol... so i same the same back! oh you have a new game coming out ay... preowned! up yours! lmao.

OK, even though I never knew about so called rumblings of trophy needs.

This is f*cked that they aren't going to add trophies, just take the achievements from the XBOX 360 version of the game, change them so they have their bronze/silver/gold ratings and then your done, it would take a day, hell I'll do it for them if they let me!!!

The one reason I haven't picked Assassin's Creed up again(After trading it for the bore of repetitiveness the game had) is because there is no reason to go back to it, I would like to see how the story ended, but really I can live without it, add trophies and it gives me a reason to play it again.

It's actually one of the reasons I have stopped playing Saints Row 2 so much, I rather play other games that have trophies and get rewarded for it, it's just so much more fun.

Of course they are, those games would become instantly replayable and in some cases buyable, IMO it is actually worse considering they are PS3 exclusives.

If it already works with achievements, wouldn't they just have to copy the same coding to work with trophies??? Surely it wouldn't be THAT hard and remember these guys are game developers who know how to do these things and do them right, 1 day to implement, 1 day for a test, BAM, trophies are in.

For me, yes it would be worth it, I would go and buy the game now if it had the trophies(There is currently a sale of the game and it is very cheap), but it doesn't so I will be picking up Uncharted instead(Now how come Naughty Dog could put their trophies in? Not to mention they didn't have any achievements to copy from one game to another)

I think that if the game had trophies, it would of added more variety to the game itself.

I re-played GTA4 when it was released with trophies, I liked it.

Either way, it's unfortunate to hear that it won't get any trophies.

That version of the game was plagued by constant screen tearing and framerate drops compared to it's 360 counterpart so I sold it long ago anyway. After all that money Ubisoft made they should go back and implement the trophies into the game and keep their fans happy, from a business standpoint that would be the right thing to do. Whoever made that decision to not add them is a moron. Keeping their fans interested in the game, especially when they're hyping the sequel, is the smart thing to do.

That would have been the best marketing move, get gamers to get back into the games, Ubisoft gains some cred for supporting their games.

jmare... how is it ignorant? so they didnt do a have baked job with trophies then? how long did they come out after acheivements? as much as i dislike the 360 and ms they did have acheivements with ALL games from the get go! and that is clearly the way to go about it isnt it? saying to someone oh you can do this or you dont have to really bother isnt the right way to go about things really is it? and if it wasnt such a bad move on sonys part why have they now changed it to every game having to have trophies now? how many articles have you seen where there is talk of a game getting trophies, and you see all the comments saying please patch this game etc... its obvious people want it and i see them as being a great idea to add reply and extra challenges to a game... so please tell me why im ignorant for saying what i said?

I didn't know about this, and to me it's pretty sad because I got the 360 version of the game and I find it very enjoyable but if I were to play it without the achievements I seriously would not like it. Can the developers expect you to go around all the cities looking for the flags and not get any recognition for it? Now I know why Assassin's Creed got lukewarm ratings from IGN.

On the other hand, it's not right to demand Ubisoft to go back and add trophy support. They're a big company and they got a lot of other games to focus on other than Assassin's Creed. Instead of vowing to hurt the company by not buying their games new, why don't you just hope that their next iteration of AC will be better. I've never heard of a gamer trying to hurt a developer. Whoever said that, that just makes you a douchebag, dude. Seriously, you have no idea how long these guys slave away at a computer to make the game and simply because there are some mistakes or something is not to your liking you're going to boycott them. Nice work. That's like American citizens disrespectfully protesting against American soldiers when they returned from their failed campaigns during the Vietnam War. Those protesters were douches too.

Is there any RUMBLE in Assasins Creed? I have been playing with my DS3 but I haven't felt anything.... Wow UBI soft is so lazy. First with Ghost Recon 2 Advanced War Fighter (For me) and now Assasins Creed! It shouldn't be hard to add rumble to the damn thing...!
