Fate of Fatal Frame IV, Nintendo Responds

Kombo Writes: "Immediately following the news of Fatal Frame IV likely never receiving a US release, we got in contact with Nintendo and asked several questions concerning the statements made by Tecmo about Fatal Frame IV, and whether or not more factors were at play in the decision. It's been a week now and we got an answer back from Nintendo on the subject."

I hope they do some serious debugging on this game if they bring it to the states. I've played the Japanese version and there are many times I would consider is unplayable because of glitches here and there.

Now I've played the original Fatal Frames on the PS2 and was actually surprised to find it on the Wii and was excited to play until I did get my hands on it.

another.. "no comment" from nintendo. They really need to change how they deal with gaming press. It get ridiculous at times. Perhaps the response from america after the announcment of no fatal frame has made them reconsider... maybe not. Only time will tell.

Maybe they waiting for the right time to release it. what can we say all we can do is speculate on it. no one actually know the reason except for the higher ups at nintendo only. hopefully it does come to U.S. tho

I'm still in the dark as to whether or not it's coming out in the EU. As it stands I've read both ways in the last two weeks and saw a fench mags ad with a release date for it.

I'll certainly lend my sig to any petition you US guys might organise as a Japanese friend of mine says it's one of the nest in series and also one of the best four or five Wii games around.

I don't feel the right to organise maoning in the US but if it's confirmed to not be coming anywhere in the west we must club together as aeither of the HD consoles wuld take a FF4 game in a heartbeat. nintendo just don't like it f a third party make a better game than them on their console, imo, it's a problem with their ego that goes really deep. They love being their own plats best dev too much and this game scored well in Fam who usually don't like the series IIRC.

Was so looking forward to this game-hopefully EU gets it sells well here and ninty give it stateside as a result.

That response is pure stfu and leave us alone people whi kept us afloat.

Nintendo really have a strange way of thinking...

why not get FF4 on US, it's the same as Disaster, i imported it and the games is amazing... so why not bring it to US? IT'S ALREADY IN ENGLISH FOR GOD'S SAKE!
