US Advent Children Complete Boxart Revealed

Square Enix have revealed the first glimpse at the US box art for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete on BluRay, set to be released in the West in June, with a Japanese release just around the corner.

If you're not interested in the movie this is fair enough, but I find a demo being a deciding factor if you are interested ridiculous and foolish, especially with how great the new cut of the movie looks.

To say you need video game demos on your movies is just weird. If you don't like movies then don't purchase them for some silly feature. Instead get the demo on your PSN or xbox live account for free.

yeah, I'm not interested in the movie at all. Nothing against FF VII. I actually loved the game (though FF III / VI will always be the best FF in my book), but I didn't care for the movie that much. FF VII was a good game, but Cloud and Sephiroth are overrated characters, IMO. Now if it was an animated movie with the FF III / VI characters including Kefka, I'd be all over it. But since it's not, I won't get it since it doesn't have the FF XIII demo.

Ah, that makes more sense now. SE did kind of oversell FF7 with anything that isn't the actual game. Anyway I'd still recommend waiting for a free version of a ff13 even though it may seem tempting to pay for it.

And to the guy saying get the demo on PSN, you obviously don't know anything about the FF XIII demo. It is only available on the Japanese version of FF Advent Children Complete blu-ray. It is not available anywhere else.

No, Square Enix won't release a demo over PSN and Live. The only time they release a demo is if it comes packaged with a game or if it is a demo of a sh!tty, poorly received game (Last Remnant). Squeenix is a greedy, greedy company who will try to make a dime out of demos. Can't wait to see what they have in store for DLC for FFXIII (my guess is you pay for easy level ups and ultimate weapons).

That looks great. I kinda wish it was zoomed back from Cloud and Sephiroth so we can see his trench flying in the air more and all of his wing but thats a badass cover.

First...the cover looks very nice. Now to the nitty gritty...I love how the US gets shafted on the demo, and actually most those who have already seen the original DVD of AC will not waste their money on this just for the HD experience. The demo not being included in the Us release is a major thing considering they made such a big deal about it being included with the AC complete Blu-Ray and now we can't even get it. Screw them, I won't be buying it. Just another way for Squeenix to screw PS3 owners.

Two words: Youtube video. I bet there will be multiple videos on youtube showing off the demo from beginning to end. Its like playing the demo, only easier :)

I could understand people being pissed about the lack of a demo, but to be fair, Advent Children Complete costs three as much in Japan than it does here. So in essence, you'd be paying $40 for a demo and $20 for the movie. Nice way to screw your fans over Square!

Anywho, Square would charge us $60 for a demo/film combo if they were to release one (which would constitute to about $40 on Amazon)so you'd have to ask yourself, would you still buy it then?
