What do the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 have in common? Yes you can play videogames, but it's the ways in which you purchase your games which the question is implying. What options does a consumer have when buying their games? Can consumers only purchase in-store, or can they purchase online? One thing that was introduced in this round of consoles is the ability to download a game straight to your console without having to go outside your house, or wait for a shipment to arrive.

Not to mention the fact that in some contries people are restricted to downloaded 1 or 2 GB per month because of archaic Internet plans.
I'm in Australia and on 40GB/month, but I have to share that with 4 other people.

Well not true bro. DLC on Xbox Live has been a success and most people having been purchasing downloadable stuff.

DLC is not a full game, it is add-on content (Which is smaller). The article is talking about real games such as Gears of War 2 or Killzone 2 (Which are much bigger). Downloading those games would take forever on a slow connection.
