I agree with Resident Evil 4. RE5 is exactly the same. I hate not being able to move and shoot at the same time.

in the wii version you really don't mind too much because the aiming has been so improved. mgs3 probably had the worse controls of the series but I still played it through and loved it. I didn't like that they took out the laser pointer out but still a hell of a game.

Lair and too human, while I applaud the attempt to be original if it doesn't work, it doesn't work, scrap it and stick with what you know.

That is why it is called a survival horror game and not an action game. Resident evil 4 is perfect the way it is.

Yeah, I've much contemplated RE4's controls and as much as I would like to run and shoot; I think it would drastically change the gameplay and it wouldn't be RE anymore. However, I so hope you can at least move and reload at the same time in RE5!

4 - Fable II
I'm loving this game right now, just started it. But I'm a runner. I'm always running around a map and the controls just aren't what I would like them to be. Even when not running. It feels like driving a boat compared to a car sorta.

can someone please explain why they put the 360 controller picture next to an article that has nothing to do with that controller. this is very misleading, and problably a very cheap jab by an overzelous Playstation fan.

I do not think is is necesary.

Let me ask you something would you have said the same thing if it was a PS3 controller or Wii? would it have been a jab by a overzealous 360 fan? Its a picture of a 360 controller because its talking about bad controls. Controls not the controller itself. Stop with you insecurity the world is not out to get you or your 360.

I dont see why most games dont offer the button mapping like they used to...id like to be able to rearrange the buttons for myself in certain games.

You move roughly the same in RE5. You can't run and shoot. I recommended that you use the right stick and the A button though most of the game. Its helps you walk faster and turn a little better.
