The Brothers in Arms iPhone Game Is Pretty Fancy

Gameloft's Brothers in Arms iPhone title, Hour of Heroes, was released yesterday on the Apple App Store--and it's pretty impressive.

Most notably, Hour of Heroes sports full 3D graphics and freedom of movement. Shooting is accomplished by tapping a button on the bottom right corner, movement is controlled via a faux analog stick, and aiming is a matter of dragging the screen. Grenades can even be thrown with a flick of the motion-sensitive phone.

1.2 - Long answer:
If you have an iPod Touch, you already experience the 60-70% of the features of an iPhone.

Especially the 2nd gen iPod Touch.

Difference are well the phone features and some minor additions. But the Touch has much better battery life.

So the answer is, Yes.

The new iPod Touches also have a faster processor compared to iPhones.

2 - Okay..
I really think some people need to take a step back and perhaps gain some perspective. Power is almost irrelevant if the mode for control is flawed, because that will always be the limit of the iphone/ipod touch's gaming capabilities. I have a 16 gb touch, and I am not impressed with this. I had a cellphone approximately one year ago with Amp'd Mobile, that had this game on it, and while it looked just as good, it controlled alot better. Just wait until Sony actually starts pushing the PSP as a platform, then judge it's capabilities.

INCOMING, iPhone gamepad:

You do you realize that the PSP has been on the market for nearly four years? If Sony was able to do anything with the PSP don't you think they would have already done it? Nothing Sony does with the PSP is going to slow iPhone's takeover of portable gaming because:

1. The dev kit for iPhone/iPod Touch is $99
2. There are no manufacturing costs involved in publishing iPhone/iPod Touch software

Looks like you're one of those people who needs to take a step back to gain some perspective.

That's actually not bad at all. Looks like it controls a heck of a lot better than Cube! Will have to check this one out.

Quality of iPhone games are rising very fast which is pretty cool.
