Holiday buying guide: Best games for grownups - 2008

If there's a recession going on, the gaming industry hasn't heard about it: Sales were up a whopping 60 percent in the third quarter vs. 2007. Why? Because there are so many great games out on the market right now. Here are some of the top recently-released titles that any gamer is sure to love -- presuming he hasn't snapped them all up already!

LIttlebig planet, Left 4 dead, fallout 3, gears 2 are a few of the titles on my list of games I want for Christmas.

EDIT: Also the new mushroom game for Wii and Tomb Raider if they add a bikini skin via DLC.

Oh and Wii music. psyche

Honestly this is a pretty decent list (could use some add-ons though) as their still are quite a few games that are out that others would like as well.

We can't forget:
Fable II
Tomb Raider (This probably over Saints Row 2 in my opinion)
Call of Duty: World at War
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
Resistance & Resistance 2
Rock Band (1 or 2)
Guitar Hero World Tour
etc, etc, etc...

I'm sure this list could be vastly improved and my list isn't all that spectacular (Going off games that I already own and trying to look at some games other gamers may not have picked up already.)
