Top 5: I can't believe I bought that - Wii games.

From the article:

Any time a video game console becomes as popular as the Nintendo Wii has in such a short time, surely it can't help but be plagued with a bit of Shovelware. But not every game that we buy and don't like is Shovelware. Sometimes we get tricked into buying a halfway decent game that just wasn't what it was made out to be. After we play such a game we're pissed that we've bought it because it just wasn't worth anywhere near as much as we paid for it. Here are the top 5 Non-Shovelware games that many of us wish we hadn't bought:

"and graphics only slightly better than the DS is capable of was made for core gamers so I supported it."

Thats like saying Street fighter HD remix is slightly better in graphics over the SNES version....I's called a freaking artsyle idiot.

Wario on the Wii is like HD compared to DS graphics...
Overall his reasons are shyte

well in fact you're totally wrong here. high resolution sprites and high resolution backgrounds = better visual = better graphics. SF HD remix has the same art style as it's predecessor or you see any difference here? http://videogame2play.com/w...

something like Street Fighter IV well that's not only different graphics but different art style too.

This is the most ridiculous list ever, Super Paper Mario was awesome, Don't regret buying it at all. Same goes for Wario Land: Shake It. Haven't had that much 2D fun in quite a while!

5 - shake it
I agree with most of his choices, but definitely not wario land: shake it. I think it's charming and helps revisit a time when games were a lot simpler. Maybe it's not worth the full 50 bucks, but hell...99% of Wii games aren't worth more than 40.

There are a number of games on the Wii that I'm glad I only rented. It's harder to pick a sure winner on the Wii than the other platforms.

RE:UC should've made the list. I bought it, because I love rail-shooters. Traded it in at Blockbuster for $30 store credit, after buying it at wal-mart for $50 + 15% sales tax. Yeuch. It was GOD AWFUL.

yes super paper mario was a great game but they passed it off as an RPG.. and that it was not.. i liked PAPER MARIO: THOUSAND YEAR DOOR better... i liked the RPG stuff in that one.. this one is more like a lil RPG with old skool mario but in paper form..

Red Steel was horrible , yes, and I've heard terrible things about Pokemon Battle Revolution and Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 3. However, his arguments for Super Paper Mario and Warioland: Shake it! are pretty damn bad. Super Paper Mario was a wonderful game. It was no real RPG, but I fail to see how you could have heard otherwise. It wasn't advertised as a full blown RPG and anyone who actually does a bit of research before buying a game would've known exactly what to expect.

As for Warioland, the guy states outright that he hates Wario. So he has no one else to blame other than himself if he actually bought it. Personally, I find it to be a fun game. It feels a bit like the old Warioland games, which were awesome. So it's simple: You like Wario and 2D platformers, buy it. If not, stay away.

10 - I agree with the article - here's my take on these games
I felt the same pain with several of these titles, ESPECIALLY Pokemon Battle Revolution. What a tragedy that was. :( It's little more than a very poor expansion pack to Pokemon Diamond/Pearl...

Red Steel - same thing for the most part. It was such an awesome idea to have a motion-sensing game with sword-fighting (similar to that one arcade game.. can't remember its name), but the horror sunk in when I found that the sword-fighting was only in brief, arranged situations and that the majority of the game involved guns. No swords in multiplayer, either.

Super Paper Mario is fun in some ways, but I was expecting a platformer with RPG elements rather than an RPG with platforming elements. I was very excited to see some classic 2D platforming action (akin to New Super Mario Bros).. what a letdown. Don't get me wrong though, I loved the original Paper Mario for N64. But the platforming elements here aren't even the elements which make platformers fun-- you would expect some fast-paced running-and-jumping, but sadly there is not so much as a dash button.
