3 - Charge for ff13 demo
Well that would not be surprising.

I mean isn't the demon almost 2hours?

Well i guess they thought they could do the same thing as Gt5 demo or beta,Gt5 is a demo somehow right?

Wondering how much it will cost though.

If it's like gt5 30-40bux

then i don't think so!

5 - FFXIII Demo
SE know they can charge for it as the franchise is so big just like Polyphony Digital can charge people £20 for what can only be described as a glorified demo. (Yeah the prologue has more content then most full retail games but compared to GT5, it really is a demo which we are paying for, PDF are getting money and making us pay for basically beta testing the game)

5.1 - I agree to some extent.
I am not a big fan of racing games but alot of people are obsessed w/GT. If people are willing to pay, someone is willing to sell. I agree with your complaint about Polyphony but who can blame them if so many people are willing to give their money away. I would not pay for a FFXIII demo even though FF is my favorite series. But Square/Enix knows that a lot of people will pay, and their right.

just me i know i'll get hated on, but i'm looking forward to SIXAXIS ghost wrangling more than

Since when companies charge for a demo? i mean the demo its to give the public and idea of how the game is going to be, its like paying to see publicity of coca-cola or pepsi.

This does not make sense. We all know Square is desperate for money--Yoichi Wada had a big come-to-Jesus with all the developers and told them to make games that WOULD MAKE MONEY. Fine. However, if they are desperate enough to charge for a 2-hour demo (and please don't compare this to GT5:P, which is smaller than the full release, but still a huge game), then why on earth haven't they remade or rereleased FFVII like they've done for every other FF I-VI? Pick your platform, but come on, people. If charging for the demo is true, this is a new level of laziness from Square.

13 - as far as i know,
Ghostbusters is not canned.

i just walked by the area today, and watched people play the PS3, 360, and Wii versions of the game.

it's looking good, but still needs a lot of work.

i think at the moment they are trying to get everything completed so they can shop it around to potential buyers.

(i work at Vivendi, now Activision, by the way)

13.2 - tell me about it.
it's one of my most anticipated games this year.

even if the game sucks, the fact that the fabulous 4 are actually lending their talents to the script, voices, and likenesses is enough to have me buying it day one.

i actually got to see a guy playing it on a 40 inch HDTV, and it looks excellent.

they just need to tweak some gameplay, and it'll be good to go, in my opinion.

i doubt they'll have much trouble finding a publisher for it. i mean, it's GHOSTBUSTERS!

even if only HALF of my generation buy the game, it'll be a success.

Uh Ghostbusters is not cancelled. The developers have come straight out and said those words. They just need a publisher and sources indicate that there will be one announced within a few weeks.
