Bubbles you best get on that! make sure you get the subsistance version, also take a look at all the extras on the bonus second disc, there are some really funny alternate sequences that cant be miss...Solid Sigint...

Anyways yea i agree for the most part that MGS4 wins that contest, but i think they left a few great endings from from the psone era, such as xenogears...maybe im just a little biased

They should probably make a list of worst endings next, such as Castlevania Symphony of the night, best game ever, but just an aweful unsatisfying ending

was unbelievably epic. I remember thinking it was over then it just kept going with more and more awesome stuff. I think they should have included Zelda Twilight Princess as well. Pretty good list, though, pretty good list.:)

the number 1 pick.. the ending in Metal Gear Solid 4... was just something i've never expierence nor felt before after beating a game ... a game thats been established for over 20 years ...** spoiler ** seeing bigboss die infront of his son was just full of win even tho it was ... to me... the most saddest moment (next to other MGS moments) in video game that i consider to be an absolute masterpiece i also think Zelda shud of been moved up

I was expecting a Metal Gear Solid game to be number 1. I just wasn't expecting it to be 4. I thought 4 as a whole was the best game of the series, but 3's ending and arguably whole story was better.

Yes, the ending for Metal Gear Solid 4 is epic, but I believe Snake Eater's ending is much more awesome. The "real-time event" in the field of flowers really is probably the single most immersive experience I've ever had in Metal Gear Solid. Seriously.

"the end" boss encounter in MGS3 and how he blew away when he died was the most awesome boss encounter for me ever. i was hoping they could've worked him into MGS4 somehow.

MGS4 as a whole was arguably the best game in the series. Liquid with SOP was awesome, Microwave was awesome. Though the ending was great, it was filled with too much explaining for the sake of ending the series. It was dragged on for too long and lost its touch.

I always felt MGS3 had the most moving MGS storyline, and the best ending. Especially during the credit when "Star Sailor - Way To Fall" was played. It fit so perfectly with MGS3 and Naked Snake's story.

By the way "Way To Fall" was accidentally found by Kojima when he bought the wrong album. Instead of returning it, he decided to check out this unknown band's album and landed upon "Way To Fall". Talk about fate. ^_^

i liked the ending in jak and daxter 2. daxter gets drunk off his @ss and is making crazy comments at the bar where the party is being held. i also like the last minute of resistance...after the credits rolled. when that happened i instantly wanted resistance 2. and then had to calm down when i knew i'd be waiting a while.

best ending ever goes to MGS4. it doesn't get any better.

It is brilliant. One of the best things i have seen in a long time. I had the same reaction halfway through bioshock ( wont ruin it for ps3 owners ^_^). Sitting going....what? what?

The coolest MOMENT in MGS4 ending (SPOLER!!!)

was when Snake and Liquid injected the anti-SOP medicine into one another - show the respect soldiers have for one another in the battlefield
