Sorry but this game is very good.. On my second play through currently and still Love this game.. Small annoyance but nothing game breaking and in no way should this game ever get below a 7.. To many fanboy haters out there who have no IDEA what a good game is.. This game will live through this unjustified bad press and will sell millions only to make a much better rated TH2/TH3.. You can bet your fanboy a$$es on it.....

People Love it with a capital L so get use to good comments about the game and excellent sells. We all know how much you want it to be written off as a flop but Too human is a game that finally goes against the power of these so called review sites that are in place to sometimes do more harm then good. We need to have a way to review games ourselves after playing through a game on consoles simple and plain.

Edit below...Too Human has it's nice moments and looks better then any game last gen. Sure there not the best graphics but there good enough to really enjoy the game and never really take away from immersion.

hahah. I'm glad you mentioned that. Guess what? I can run Soul Calibur PS3 at 1080p just fine. Guess you didn't realize that MS has been pulling the wool over your eyes with interpolated 1080p. We can "scale" it to 1080p on our console too. The only difference is that on MS packaging "scaling" is supposed to be "native," a blatant lie. There's actually only about 2 games in MS's line that has true 1080p. On Sony's platform there are over a dozen. Face it you're running out of defense ammo.

Every single XBOX 360 game says 1080p on it because the 360 has a very good scaler chip in it. That's MS's way of fooling people that the 360 plays every 360 game at 1080p when in reality you're just blowing up a native 720p signal like a DVD upscaler blows up a 480p signal to whatever res you set your system at.

The reason why this isnt just going away is because for what this game is it was rated way to low and unjusticely down.. Reviewers and fanboys bashed this game for no reason... Hell i play ALOT of GAMES. The last game that i would even compare style of game to was the GoW series, and let me say this.. I NEVER finished ONE of the TWO GoW games i own on my PS2. Great games GREAT storys but i did not like the bushon mashing i had to do for it.. I mean give me a break on the two sisters in GoW2 where you had to reflect there scream blast... That was rediculous button mashing.. But still all in all both where GREAT GAMES.. Now Too Human has its share of problems but i tell you this i have beaten the game already once and i look forward to beating it atleast on more time if not more.. AND I have yet to play some CO OP..... game on... Collosis lvl 31 Cybernetic Defender of Too Human

RPG guy doesn't have to have played it. Thats what reviews are for. I played at my buddies house and didn't much care for it myself. If I want a grind i'll do it in WoW...

Same can be said back to others "Have you played Lair?" Not that your knocking it but I felt(And feel currently after the patch to use the analog sticks) thats it's a decent game... Similar to the way you may feel about Too human and nothing wrong with that but i accept that many many others hated lair and don't say anything about it...

it seems like if you like it then great but the majority of people don't like it... When will you be satisfied? After he has invested 200 hours of his life into the game to come back up and say to your face "It sucks"?

Are you sure you mean button mashing for GOW? Yeah you can kind of force your way thorugh with button mashing, but there are combos to learn that make the game much easier and much more enjoyable. It's like a fighting game, yeah you can mash buttons and win sometimes, but to get really good you have to learn combos. And besides, every game is a button masher if you think about it.

Too Human is one epic experience that has never been done before and even out does the Baldurs Gate series imo so get over it. It's so funny watching some of you hate on this game that obviously haven't played it and look for reviews to make you decisions. Be a man and stop getting pushed around by these sites.

No it doesn't hold any cred because you obviously never purchased the title which I think is fair to say don't you think? I'm sure there's been a point in your life when people said bad things about a person and once you met the person found that he or she was actually not like the way they described right? I play as many games as I can and have no console ligeance. I've been gaming for 30 plus years and will never stop lol.

Actually those things you say are not the things that make you a man but yes I respect a person that will sacrifice his life for others as I have done myself. Look bro all I said was from what I have played it's not my type of game. From what I have played I am not going to invest umpteen days into trying to enjoy it... I enjoy variety in games but as far as dungeon crawlers go I would rather play Diablo 2 or(Insert a ton of other names here). From what I have played of too human, which honestly and fairness, isn't all that much but from what I have played and seen and heard and understand from about 15 credible sources it doesn't seem to appeal to me. I have a valid opinion on this.

My point in posting this was not blatant hate or spewing anti 360 sentiment but to put someone who was out of line in place. Do I think you have to purchase a game in order to have an opinion on it? No. I have never purchased bejeweled but I think it's great. Do people who rent count? Try before you buy I mean really isn't that the ultimate in opinion... Basically what I did by going to my friends house on Saturday and crackin a few brews and playing for a while... So my cred is nil because of it?

But if someone else who doesn't make as much money as you says "I will wait for reviews" like the quote I put. I can respect that just as I can respect a rental for an opinion. People who go out of their way to bash a game based on reviews and not having tried it I can understand a little more how it can be annoying but I don't feel I did that... I really don't feel like my post was a hate filled speach about why Too human sucks. by all right i don't think it sucks it's just not something I would buy and play. I don't like Halo or MGS either for that matter but hey thats my opinion. no console bias or anything I have played and beat both halo 3 and MGS 4 and don't care for either of them...

Bad reviews are common. It is rare to find a true professional reviewer that takes his job seriously. They often don't play the game long enough to make valid judgments. Often, you will see that reviewers say the same thing as if all the information comes from a single source (like the mainstream media repeats the New York Times).

I love dungeon crawlers and always have.

...Too Human is a better game than Haze or Lair (in my opinion). It's certainly not perfect, but it's an above average game.

It's so sad to me that some people (who have never, and will never play Too Human) are actually rooting for this game to fail simply because Haze and Lair did, and they want something to use as "payback". There's plenty of games on the 360 that suck, just like there's plenty on the PS3 and Wii that suck, there's no reason to go witchhunting for games to throw in the competitions face.

Why anyone would root for any game to fail is completely beyond my comprehension.

Lair alienated itself with the sixaxis controls. Sure you can get used to it, but most people would have preferred to use the analog sticks. I think it deserved the criticism because I actually wanted to play it without looking like I was trying to keep gravy from spilling off a plate. Plus I'm lazy and only want to move my thumbs. Haze is just bad. I'm a huge Timesplitters fan, but Haze is awful. I hate everything about it. It makes a game like Timeshift look like a system seller. Too Human is a very good game. But everyone wanted to shred it before they even got their hands on it. It was never given a chance. To bad, I'm really loving it, but I doubt the sequels will ever be made. Microsoft has a knack for canceling franchises that aren't mega hits.

Lair was a Flop because it was a ps3 exclusive and it was the year of 360 so everything on ps3 must flop and because Lair was trying to force innovation to us and us(the bots) dont like innovation so that main reason why it flopped and for some reason the media wanted to take revenge on ps3 because how the arrogance sony showed with ps2! of course the game had some minor issues but not to the point to give it reviews like our beloved Flopped Too Human!!

I felt like neither game needs defending because it seems like people like Too human. I bought Lair myself and it was a great game and I know it would stand on it's own merit (both games, really). If you look at player reviews versus critic reviews the vast majority of players loved Lair and didn't see how the critics couldn't "get it". I think it's an IQ thing or something, I don't know. People also are doing the same thing for Too Human, as well (and it's probably an IQ thing, too).

I even wrote a review on Lair, and the game wasn't hard to control after you got the proper understanding of the game. Not to brag, but I got all gold medals before the controls patch came out.

But seeing how XboX fans now experienced how a game has been unfairly dumped on due to media bias and how a game is actually better than what fickle and bitter critics say, you all might want to remember that the next time you hear a PS3 fan defend his/her game...

...and stop letting game sites play you against each other for website hits they can use to get advertising dollars.

sorry i couldn't answer right back. i'm at work. but i finished it over 17 hours. but thats because i kept going back to lvl up my man because some areas where hard or some weapons where at higher lvl's so i had to lvl to use. my biggest problem with the game besides the camera was. it should have been longer. 4 long boards wasn't long enough. IMO

I'm close to 18 hours into it, and I'm 63% into the game.

@Vega - Which characters are you playin through the game with? To me Too Human seems more like an Action game rather than an RPG, so 17 hours is good. But, as I'm almost finished with my first play through, I wish the game would be longer, as an RPG. Hopefully the next game will be longer, and hopefully have more choices that you hafta make, like Mass Effect.
