NPD, GfK ChartTrack and Enterbrain Join Forces

Leading sales monitors the NPD Group, GfK Chart-Track and Enterbrain have released the Top Global Markets Report, the first in a new series of monthly reports detailing videogame software sales across the US, UK and Japan.

The first of the multi-continent reports lists Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto IV as 2008's bestseller to date with 6,293,000 units sold, despite the fact that the game only released in late April in the US and UK and has yet to hit the Japanese market.

I searched NPD on google and a chart came up, and I just used that. Lol. Nothing to do with fanboyism, I didn't even realise myself that it was wrong. lol. Sorry for that guys.

1.2 - That's not fake...It's the actual NPD chart from October 2007.
Sales looked pretty bad for the PS3 just before the price drop/40 gig model were introduced.

I wonder how this Octobers numbers will look with a $299 360 & the 80 & 160 gig PS3 on sale? If sales so far are any indication, it will be a very different chart.

We'll know in 2 months...and it's great we'll finally have a comprehensive chart of sales everywhere.

That I'd like to see.
