Ninja Gaiden 2 is a huge disappointment. And buggy. I haven't been able to bring myself to continue playing it.

Blue Dragon,
Infinite Undiscovery (should be great, but we'll see),
Mass Effect (if you don't have a pretty high-end PC),
Lost Odyssey,
Star Ocean 4,
Banjo-Kazooie,
Viva Piñata,
Gears of War 2 (inevitably a better version heading to PC, but whatever),
Project Gotham Racing 3 and 4 (haven't played 4 because I don't see much difference from 3 and I'm not too hardcore a racing fan),
Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 (amazing sequel),
Braid (very unique and refreshing XBLA game),
Ikaruga and Rez HD and Soul Calibur and Symphony of the Night (if you haven't played them on other systems, I know SotN is on PSN, too),
Saints Row (was even better before GTAIV came out),
Kameo (some people liked this game a lot),
Beautiful Katamari (if you aren't burnt out on Katamari from PS2),
Halo Wars,
and Castle Crashers (multiplayer from the guys who did Alien Hominid, should be good).

I'm not saying you'd like all of those, but there's a ton of great games right there that mostly can't be found on other systems.

Thats a good list but I really prefer most shooters to be on PC.Trust me,Gears 1 on PC with an Nvidia 8800 is amazing.The only games I care about on that list you had was Forza 2 and PGR4.Along with Mass Effect.

I'm not really an XBLA kind of person cause I prefer full 15-40 hour games.Sorry.

heh, I'm not a defense force, I was just pointing out a fact, I feel sorry for you sony fanboys, you guys keep on fighting the fight, I will just keep on enjoying all 3 of my 'current gen' consoles, fanboys make me laugh, I guess some people just love to argue.

But I will say 1 more thing about Achievements, its one good thing that MS have pulled off this gen, and it cant be denied seeing as how some of the biggest names in gaming have copied them (Valve, Sony and Blizzard).

Maybe the original poster was simply complaining about something that is an obvious problem and not scheming to do the same thing in a PS3 article. You don't have to bite his head off for a truthful observation, nor get defensive when he expresses dislike for sony trolls.

Okay...seeing that 360 owners are ganging up on me at the moment, let me tell you a little story about my stand in the console war.

1. Back in 2007, I recently purchased a 60gb PS3 with backward capabilities. I held on to the promises Sony made for the system and believed that the PS3 would pull through. But I was in fact very disappointed in the fact that Sony had failed on those promises and justifying a PS3 was very hard during that time. I only had one game for the console and was seconds away from selling it and risking to get a 360 because of the usual comments.

'The PS3 has no games!'
'The PS3 is only a bluray player!'
'You wasted $800.00 bucks for that garbage? The 360 has all the games!'
'The 360 has the best online service in history!'

I felt that Sony had let me down as a consumer and they touted this stuff as the second coming. I have stated many times that I was quite upset with Sony's arrogance back in 2007.

2. As the year 2008 approached, and I saw that the PS3 was starting to gain momentum, pushing 1st party games, and pushing ahead with their firmwar updates, my opinions began to change. I started to realize that I didn't waste that money for a bluray player; that the PS3 was a gaming console and I should treat it as such.

I started buying more games for it, and started playing on it more often because back in 2007, I barely touched my PS3. I hated the old interface and I hated the fact things were happening slowly.

I'm glad that I didn't sell my PS3 because it would have been the worst mistake in my entire life.

3. I enjoyed Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the PS3, and when I heard NG2 was only on the 360, it annoyed me. But I wanted to play this game, so I decided to ask my uncle for an XBox 360 as a graduation gift. Plus, I heard some good things about Lost Oddssey so I wanted to try that as well.

4. I have stated on numerous occasions that I do not completely hate the 360. The 360 does have a good online service and some great games, but the RROD stopped me from buying that first. If it was a more reliable console, I would have bought that first because I like trying new things. The RROD issue was so rampant in 2007 that it scared the crap out of me. I did not want a console that was going to break in my house within a month or a year and then I would have to go through the headache of replacing it. That's why I held off until I was sure the issues were slowly being resolved.

I criticize Microsoft because they need to get their acts together. We all saw what arrogance did to Sony in 2007 and the same thing will happen with Microsoft if they keep acting that way. While I don't like Microsoft's practices when it comes to business, I think them being in the console war does, in a way pushes Sony to be much stronger.

5. The reason why I say things about 360 owners is because of the fact that they make the 360 sound like a perfect console, that it can never go wrong. Heaven forbid someone says something about it, the person is attacked and torn to shreds. I can admit the PS3 has it's faults. Firmware update 2.4 should have came with the PS3 when it first launched, Sony shouldn't have paraded with Home when it wasn't ready, and they shouldn't have sprouted that bullsh*t about 4D graphics. If I can admit all of that, then how is it that 360 owners such as karl. PoG, and others can't admit that their console is not *perfect*? It's a good system without the RROD issues, or the scratched disks issues but it has it's faults.

6. Perhaps if you people would stop judging me and at least get to know my side of this console war, you would see that I am not pulling bullsh*t from my ass. I meant every word of it and I have no reason to lie or hide my feelings about it. The PS3 is my preference and it will always be my preference because it has some really good games.

Your preference is the 360, and mine is the PS3. But don't expect me to sit back and not present an argument for the PS3.

That's all I have to say about that, and I am done with this article.

In an article for Xbox 360 players? Perhaps if you weren't the one starting the arguments people would be more willing to listen to you, but as of now, you're starting the arguments.

I will say, N4G is definetly full of fanboys from both Xbox and Sony, but he Sony ones are much more prevelant from what I've seen. To be fair, I've only been at this site for about a two and a half weeks, but as of right now, Sony ones are much more outspoken.

Maybe you need to read first before you assume I was starting a fight.

360 fans ought to stop being hypocritical. They claim PS3 fans come here on their articles when most of them do the same thing. That's one of the few things I said.

Contrast this to the ps3, which promised the earth, was touted as the second coming of christ, yet is struggling to match the 360 in most areas except bluray capacity!

The 360 is FAR from perfect, but SONY was just ARROGANT before during and after the release of the ps3!

Yes, while achieving the RROD, disk scratching, and not delivering on first party games. 1st party games sell consoles, not 3rd party. MGS4 was the exception because Sony bundled the game as well as Konami.

While the 360 does have more games, a lot of them are really, reallly, REALLY bad in terms of scores. But of course, the PS3 had some bad games as well but they were nowhere as bad as the 360.

And yes it was. I acknowledged that in my *wall of text*. The PS3 is not *struggling* as you so put it. It reached those numbers a LOT faster than the 360. What do you think will happen when Socom, God of War III, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, and Resistance 2 hits? Those games will boost PS3 sales because most people who still own PS2's were waiting for games like God of War III and Socom. And on top of that, Sony has secret games to announce?

Why can't you, for once in your life acknowledge that the PS3 has come a long way since 2007? Mistakes were made in 2007 but I think Sony has done a great job addressing those mistakes and learning from them.

I can show you many articles in which Microsoft was very arrogant towards Sony. I find it hypocritical that they would attack Sony for Home when their IPTV isn't out yet and they're still looking for a provider. I find it particularly annoying to see how they're depending so much on Sony's 3rd party games to satisfy 360 owners when they should be pushing for 1st party games and...I don't know...INNOVATION?!

Neither system is perfect, but you can see which company is really trying their hardest to deliver on their promises. As Hirai has stated many times in his interviews, Sony has a lot of work to do on the PS3.

And it's just beginning.

Give it up karl, because I believe this conversation has run it's course. Believe what you want to believe and I will believe what I want to believe.

The PS3 is making a huge comeback and that's something to applaud.
