The PSU staff writes: "With E3 2008 so close that we can nearly taste it, we here at PSU have decided to compile a few predictions for the upcoming expo. With our predictions ranging from obvious to unheard of, not all will materialize come E3. Regardless, our combined intellect and magical future-prediction skills have led us to some very probable conclusions. Without further adieu, here are our PlayStation predictions for E3 2008."

1 - Hmmm
Good predictions, but I bet we'll be getting some nice surprises this year.

What I actually HOPE for are some open betas for Home and LittleBigPlanet. I'll be excited for whatever new games there are, but right now I really want a chance to try out the really exciting software that we know is coming.

Twisted metal, resistance 2, killzone 2, motorstorm 2, home, video service, and more. This is going to be great!

I have to admit that I totally forgot about the Factor 5 developing studio. Hopefully their next game is a new IP.

I know that this might sound dumb, but I think that it might be possible for Factor 5 to do a Lair 2 and here is what they could put in the game to make it WAY better than Lair and possibly be a hit:

- They should make it so you can get off of your dragon and fight other guys on the ground in hand to hand combat and with swords and other weapons.

- They should make Lair 2 a Free Roaming game in which you can do whatever you want, whenever you want and they should make Lair more of an Adventure game because the first Lair was just mission based and you chose missions from a menu. If you could actually fly to your missions in an open world and explore other areas off of the dragon, I think that it would be an awesome game and it would have that GTA feel to it.

-They should have an optional Sixaxis control scheme and it shouldn't be mandatory.

If Factor 5 made Lair 2 with those changes, I think that it could possibly be a very good game.

But, I think that it would probably be best of Factor 5 moved on from the Lair franchise, the only downside to coming up with new IP's is that they usually take longer to develop, and I just don't want to be waiting 3 years until I can play Factor 5's next PS3 game if it's a new IP.
